Whispers from the Writing Nook
Added 2025-06-15 16:40:55 +0000 UTCTwo more chapters this week and I received the six back from editing. My plan is to write two more and get those six edited plus scheduled.
I might even start on the scheduling this weekend but I planned a surprise for my partner. He loves trains, and I booked our small family group for a stream train ride through the mountains. Normally, I am very bad at keeping secrets. Like the worst. I love sharing news and good things but I have kept my mouth shut for like 6 weeks about this. My partner has no clue.
So, don’t tell anyone.
The slug battle continues but this week it has gone maybe slightly better? I reseeded my cucumbers but nothing has popped up yet. The seeds for the squash have popped and they haven’t been eaten yet. Thats a win.
I also planted new pea plants, but they have some nibbles. So we will see.
I don’t want to have to put anymore beer out because we have raccoons living on the property. My fear is drunk raccoons in the garden.
Updates on the new cat. It belongs to the new neighbors and has already been fixed. It escaped outside, and they are having a hard time convincing it to come inside.
