A lonely tropical island in the middle of the ocean. It looks beautiful, but the trembling volcano is quite terrifying. Is it worth to stop there in the search of the treasures? Beside sand, stones and volcano there’s nothing more, but when you look closer the boulders on the top of the hill look interesting. Someone had to live here, because of the wooden bridges hanging around. Also there’s common knowledge that famous pirates had their hideouts in that area.
Do you think we shall wait for the owner of this land? I think they would like to save their belongings from the burning lava…
But on the other hand, maybe someone is already here? You can add some travelers, people saved from the destroyed ship, or scavengers ready to fight for the forgotten treasures? This island is not very big, but encounters built here might be heroic, and add a lot of spice to your story!
But even the most heroic quests should have tough choices. Maybe there’s no chance to save everyone from the volcano? Or you will not be able to collect any treasure in exchange for safety for all the people?
Have fun with your players! Put their friends, enemies, frenemies and lovers on this island and let them decide how their story will go on.
