I’m wondering how that would impact the story…what sort of domino effects that might have 🤔 (No need to respond to that, I’m just thinking as I type) Also, finding out that Everett has a son named Simon also made me wonder if Everett is actually the biological father or if Simon (Sr.) was? Did Everett only step into that role of father once Simon was killed and is he now a a single father because the mom has disappeared? More random 4am thoughts as I listen to it for the umpteenth time. The humour and sarcasm throughout the audio was EVERYTHING! I was truly in stitches listening to this. If I tried to write everything that made me laugh I’d end up posting about 90% of your script. I found the humour during the fight scene so much fun. His delivery is priceless. The moment he started complaining about the Uber being on the other side of the street and the driver’s inability to read the GPS, I knew I had found my soulmate. lmao Plus the whole, “See…This is why you do not be bully. There always bigger bully than you.” Ohh! And the “Ah yes…by all means, pat yourselves on the back. Oh, are we done?” lmao Hilarious! (Like I said, there were SO many!!!!) Tom, as always the action sequences you created are SO 🤬 immersive!!! They’re really incredible. (I need to be able to insert that tappycat emote here LOL) I feel like actually dodging and ducking while I’m listening to them. It’s almost ridiculous how good they are and how much I love closing my eyes and seeing them unfold in my mind. BTW, I may have clapped again when your second Uber arrived and you said, “Markus?” LOL Loved that! Moushumi! Shy Girl tie in? 😉 The music you used for the entire thing..once again, so great! During the charity banquet after he told them to shut up, while he was discussing Prime and how the world is in danger…there’s no way I would hear that music and think it would fit there, but it was great! God, I need a thesaurus. I’m running out of good words and it’s after 4:30am. The way you edited the scenes, cutting back and forth…I personally find that sometimes these type of repeated cuts can actually become annoying and take me right out of a story, disturbing the flow…even with a tv show or movie where I’m actually given the picture…so the risk of that happening for me during an audio is even higher. You manage to do that Tom Banter thing and edit it so not only do the cuts not take me out of the story, but they somehow have me leaning in, pulling me closer to the edge of my seat. I find that so cool. While I would be able to point out a favourite part in every one of your stories, I do have three overall favourites which I absolutely love. I have earned a ridiculous number of frequent flyer miles on these three over the last little while because I’ve listened to them SO much: Collided, Reconcilled and When We Found Us. There is something about these three (for me) that have me “TombanLaid” every time I hear them. lol Traction has just swooped in out of nowhere and simultaneously bumped all three of them down on the list and it didn’t even break a sweat. I feel like I should give some constructive criticism about at least some part of this production in order to balance out the fist-clenching, arm shaking, “over-excited toddler” type of gushing praise which I’m spewing all over the place here, but honestly, “I’ve got nothin’”. So, go on and wear that Discord Crown, Tom. LOL This audio was absolutely immaculate. 👑 Okay…I’m done…for now anyway… CC - Out 🌷

I so very badly want to tell you how much I absofuckinglutely love this audio that I’ve given up on trying to regain composure before I dive into my typical rambling rhythm and spew out all my thoughts. You may wish to grab a tea and sit back and I apologize in advance for any redundancy that occurs as I go off on tangents. I am officially obsessed with the voices you have chosen to give your characters. It’s evident how much work you have put into not just deciding what each of them should sound like, but also practicing their accents so you’re able to execute them impeccably. (Once again) I seriously clapped my hands together when I heard Donnie call in the explosion and I immediately recognized Barnes’ voice. The moment I heard him speak I knew it was him and I absolutely love that the characters are instantly recognizable in these situations! And, as I mentioned during your live ramble, I also loved that you included a nod to Holding Down the Fort. I smiled ear to ear when I heard it I’m pretty sure I need to start meeting with Donnie and hire him as my therapist. I love the discussion of life lessons learned he has with Everett as they share details from their past relationships. The way Donnie speaks to Everett…the emotion in his voice at times…the sweetness…the tenderness…I love it. It’s so beautiful that it’s almost painful to listen to at times, if that makes any sense.

I know the non-linear thing can get overwhelming--but I think that's if you're actively trying to piece the story together. It is a much different experience for those that listen to the episodes and let the story happen. I feel rewarded to have a listener as astute toward the work as you are. For once when I say that, it actually means something to the audio! :tombanyay: It’s finally nice to meet Donnie, much like it’s finally nice to meet many of these characters as they’re evolving, moving and shifting into their full potential within this world you’re building. It’s definitely been a bit of a roller coaster ride to get to this point. I have been settling in and impatiently patient waiting for you to painstakingly reveal details, give hints, while you do your thing and point us in the right direction while allowing lore to feed headcanons and drive theories into the stratosphere. It’s exciting to be here, in this moment, where characters crossover and their relationships/associations are not only revealed but pieced closer together. It’s like watching a chess match and I picture you tapping the damned clock every time you drop an audio, pausing the game, leaving us all in stasis. Where we wait to see what’s next and why you may have chosen to tell that story ahead of another. Yes, I know non-linear storytelling is kind of your thing—I’m here for it. I definitely have developed an appreciation for how inspiration strikes you and what you choose to do with it in those moments. My brain doesn’t work well creatively, the discipline of science/medicine has created a monster that thankfully hasn’t affected my imagination when I’m listening to audios, reading or whatever I choose to do in order to relax. I say all that to say, I’m pleased that your creativity has found a way to once again, keep me here in this community, invested as fuck. Anyways, back to Donnie. I can tell you have enjoyed giving him a voice, he has a real presence. He’s charming, cavalier and sexy. There’s an Old World charm to him, but not in the stodgy boring sense, he’s no-nonsense and to the point. He’s very personable and charismatic but also definitely not one to shit talk, flirt and tease without purpose. The way you performed his character ultimately revealed the different aspects of him and that totally makes me so much more curious about him. He appears to be driven by a no bullshit purpose that I hope we see more of. You truly hit a groove here with how you chose to tell this story. I enjoyed the way you turned the timing of the segues into something that had impact. I feel like the pacing of this story and how you chose to tell it helped really put not only Donnie front and center, but Everett too. It was nice to hear him say his name, I felt like I was truly watching two people try to get to know each other in a way that was totally plausible. You really thought about how to give Donnie what he needed to gain traction not only for me as a listener—it was nice to have someone finally give a little more info as to what Prime and their mission ultimately is—but to allow him to have whatever was needed to connect with Everett. And ultimately, allowed me to REconnect with him. I appreciated that. It affected change—it not only moved me, it made me move. It’s amazing to see the slightest hints in how much he’s changed, he definitely is, as Donnie praised, “dzielny mały dzik🐗.” The ending of this audio totally feels like a midseason finale where the network makes you wait a couple months before picking up again and continuing on. You’re so good at the plot twist cliffhanger combo pack ™️. It’s oddly and sadistically satisfying seeing things come into focus only to have others shift the joy of those small victories away, lol. Thank you for your time, craft and effort on yet another great audio and proving that art is not what you see, but what you make others see.
