Tom VC Drop-Ins, Discord - global @everyone in the future
Added 2020-10-10 04:41:16 +0000 UTCHi everybody. I enjoy sourcing ideas from the crazy community you guys have built on the discord server. You are all doing a great job self moderating, being supportive, and knowing how to treat each other well.
I did an impromptu thing in the Q&A voice chat tonight, where I recorded a session in which we formulated a game show together, for the purposes of creating my audio for this week's Fapcast episode.
Because of the spur of the moment nature of how it happened, there was no global ping sent, despite half the server being in the channel.
The next time I am in VC for a large community event like that, planned or not, I will be sure to @everyone so everybody gets the opportunity to participate.
I apologize if anyone was left out--please know I love you and it was my own shortsightedness that failed in facilitating that properly. I appreciate your understanding and look forward to interacting with those of you who didn't get a chance to tonight.

No, no planned drop ins. Tonight kind of just escalated beyond anything i could have predicted until I was performing live improv. But I do plan to have official/planned Q&A, movie night, tv binge night, and improv/fun nights like tonight.

I understand how it must have felt to miss something unique and exciting like that and would like everybody who is available and would be willing to participate to have the chance to participate if a simple ping can help ensure that :)
