I must say, the phrase "Starts failing classes cause he is getting dumber. Happens over the course of a week of tennis practice." made it so much more challenging, despite my fondness for slow burns, especially over a week.
Anyway, I'll tend to get back to the shorter stories. The constant run behind the schedule is getting frustrating for me, and I want to get it back on track, but my recent habit of cramming too many details in the story makes it unmanageable.
