The Floor is Lava -- Full Resolution

Good morning, y'all~! It's a new commission cycle, and here is the first finished piece of the new batch -- a rough sketch for ButtonFire2 (Twitter) // Butt_on_fire (FA). Thank you SO much, golly what a fun prompt, especially for these two! xD

Usually, a firm punishment from Paddul was enough to send a knight running for the hills, swearing revenge all the while.

So after setting down the so-called 'Sir' Gallahad, Paddul hadn't expected to hear anything but the usual stream of angry snorts and bluster. But this time? He wasn't retreating.

Paddul opened one eye to stare at the angry horse. "You've already gotten your licks for today," Paddul informed him. Their tail swished lazily back and forth as they waited for him to leave. The large 'button' clinked against the stone floor in warning.

"I'm not done yet! I'll take you down with—" Sir Gallahad's eyes widened as he saw a glow forming in Paddul's mouth.

Paddul's lips curled in a grin. "I said, we're done."

A stream of fire came hurtling towards Gallahad... right towards his already reddened behind.

By the time Paddul was done, Gallahad's rear end was piping red hot to the touch and aglow with heat.

With tears in his eyes, the knight stubbornly continued to carry on about revenge -- until Paddul's sweeping tail knocked him on his ass...

... And right onto the red-hot ground, which had turned to lava.

Like Paddul's flame breath, which left his ass unharmed (if otherworldly sore!), this too seemed magical -- but he would only realize that later. For now, his yelps echoed around the cavern as if his ass were truly on fire. He was so loud, he almost drowned out the cackling laughter of the dragon.
