In a small village where Passion and Legend thrive, lives a young baker who refuses to believe anything of the sort. Driven by logic, kindness, and the power of a good slice of cake, Daisy is determined to befriend her newest neighbor. As she learns more about this mysterious boy, and witnesses the slow yet sudden destruction of her hometown, she begins to realize that the legend her town is famous for might actually be true. But what happens if she chooses to grow close to this new baker? Will he become her Ally in a fight against a deadly cult, or will he be the one to burn her bakery from the inside out?
Teaming with her best friend Andy, Daisy races to solve the legend’s mystery before her hometown is replaced by ash and smoke.
