Yeah with my testing so far you can still use assets, tiles, and certain maps but the placeable actors don't work at all because of token attacher

We do not yet officially support V10. The main blocker is the Token Attacher dependency, which is in the works. Hopefully within the next week.

It a good question. Basically... Install Towns (everything relies on this. And 70% of content is here.) Nuts and Bolts. Small and efficient, and everything relies on it. After that... Premium (if you want more ready-made maps) Dungeons. Lots of dungeon stuff. Including the epic Magic Dungeon system. City Districts. Split out by theme. It's hard to know what you want before you install. That's fair. But they are small and worth exploring. 3D. Only if you want to venture into 3D maps. I happen to think it's AMAZING. Landing Pages. Just launched this. Worth exploring if you're curious.

I could just be stupid, but is there someplace that explains what each json link actually includes? I want to get everything to play around with but I'm unsure if I need to import all the links, just some of them, or just certain ones for the maps I want.

Hey Baileywiki! Great work all around for everything...you're the one creator I always need. Quick idea about the Landing Page is maybe add elements like boots, helms, wands, staves, etc.. to represent the different magical items in the game while the group has some of those possessions in their party.

I got the error "baileywiki-maps-premium-towns | ImportEntities was called with a reference that is not registered with Foundry. Double check for typos between your manifest.json and module initialisation files. If you are *not* the creator of this module, then the issue is likely that a compendium pack from a different game system is being referenced. You can ignore this warning if so. Received the following call details: Object { searchPack: "baileywiki-maps-premium-towns.journals", entityNames: (1) […], entities: (1) […], type: "journals" } scene-packer.js:950:21 baileywiki-maps-premium-towns | ImportEntities was called to search for pack "baileywiki-maps-premium-towns.journals" which is not found. Check for typos in your module setup." when opening the Sleeping Giant Scene from the Town module, it looks like it hasnt been changed to use nuts and bolts yet

I've tried to install District 04 into foundry however it loads everything Except the actors compendium, is there anyone else with this issue?

I still have some doubts. Maps town and Maps Premium are in baazar so they do not use personal quota in my assets, meanwhile cabal dungeon and the 3 city districts are not in baazar and so they use space in our personal assets. is it true? Why if you have 6 modules you have 2 in baazar and 4 not? Is there any particular reason? Could we have everything in baazar? Which are PRO and CONS? Thanks

You can install Towns directly from the Bazaar. Then it won't count against your quota. Just connect your Patreon to your Forge account page.

Why on Forge dungeon is still at 0.0.7 instead to 0.0.12? And why forge tell me there is an updgrade oc city from 0.0.3 to 0.0.2, that is actually a downgrade?

Was wondering if you might consider working with Foundry directly to get all your Patreon-only module.json files linked under their native Premium section? Have to say it's a huge PITA navigating to every Patreon creator’s site or Discord channel to manually hunt down manifest URLs, download zips, etc., when all of this could be automated from the admin console of my server. The Mad Cartographer already has all 17 of his premium modules linked directly on Foundry. And because I subscribe to him on Patreon, they automatically show up under my https://foundryvtt.com/community/[username]/subscriptions profile. It’s just too convenient of a way to publish premium content for professional creators to keep ignoring. It really has become a full-time job (that I now hate), and is pushing me to just stop supporting so many creators because it’s such a time-consuming mess to stay on top of all the super-secret, this-month-only, for-pay links. Thanks.

Thank you for this. i'm going to use it in a western game I'm running. and a bunch of it looks to be useful. I hope layers lets you see up with a faded token. guys can shoot down but it seems hard to shoot up.

After update, the Modular Town Premium Map Pack reads v0.3.4 not 0.3.5, if that matters. Foundry latest v9 stable.

V9 is pretty stable and all necessarily modules now support it. So should be good to go, bit still backup your world just in case. You need to toggle the update lock, or if you're in Forge, there's a checkbox to unlock it)

It was a convenient place to put a terrain file that comes preloaded with terrains that match my art style. If you have Dungeondraft and Forgotten Adventures, then it's an easy way to generate terrains for the modular system if you need more than what I provide in the modules.

Indeed, the 3 install manifests get you my entirety of Foundry content in 3 modules: Premium, Towns, and Dungeons. This includes Prefabs and the Modular systems, Scenes, Tiles, Sounds, Macros, Journal Entries, Roll Table, etc.

No, you won't lose anything. All the things you put into scenes will remain intact. You will just get an updated compendium that includes any new content or updates or fixes to existing content. The one exception is when there are "breaking changes", meaning a tile has been removed from the module altogether or it's path gets changed. These are very rare, and would only impact that tile if it appears in your world somewhere. To date, we have never done a breaking change.

Hi Question I'm brand new to this...if I use the current pack to start building my world and scenarios and then update the links next month will I lose my work after the update? Or will it keep everything but add new options that you've added in the month's release?

Yeah, Foundry doesn't have a friendly way to do what I do, so I need to update my links every month. Kind of a pain but easy once you know it.

Forge users DON'T want to install the modules using the URLs. Instead, Forge users can install from the Bazaar and it takes up zero data. You have to connect your Patreon to Forge to do this. The one exception is the Dungeon module. That one has to be installed using the URL, but it's relatively small on size. Couple hundred Mb.

A simple yet inelegant solution would be update the post, copy the post, then delete it, and paste the same post again and it should give the notification while keeping everything you want.

Create a short url that points to the latest post. When you make a new post you update where the short url points. Same URL always takes you to the post (perm link) but you are making new posts so it shows up in the feed

I hope to have a solution at some point. The Forge stopped accommodating new patreon-backed modules, so they threw the wrench without also offering an easy solution (other than, "increase your quota".

Well, honestly, it's a really simple check box. Click it off to place assets and back on again when you're done. What's the alternative module called?

One anomaly I discovered; when working with the pre-built pieces, if you have the "About Face" module installed, it can be a bit maddening to place and move pieces because the module wants to reface the control token. I found just turning that module off before placing things then back on before I play helped my sanity. Hope that's useful for everyone. :D

Yes, at a minimum you need Token Attacher to power all the prefabs. Do these modules have dependencies? do you recommend installing other modules with these to improve performance/gameplay?

If you're looking for the overhead town map, search for "map" in the Town scenes Compendium. If you're looking for the empty grass or cobble backgrounds, they are inside the tile sets within the module folders. The best way to find these paths is to find a sample scene that uses them and open its config to locate the file path.

One thing I saw in your vids and don't see in the compendiums... the large background map for city or for rural setting for the village. Is that something that wasn't included or am I doing it wrong? :D

Good question. All of the scenes in the Premium Module will work without Token Attacher. All of the prebuilt scenes in the Towns module should work without TA, but I've never thought someone would use the Town module WITHOUT also using TA, so I'm going to have to test that. Standby..

Yes, you get all content with the current links. It's the same packages that keep expanding and updating over time. The links just change where those packages are located.

Does each month's download link include previously released material, or does it merge the latest files in with the previous files? In other words, if I miss the February link, but install the March link, do I still get the February content?

There are two types of updating you need to know. First, every month the install URL changes. I notify you when that happens and that's your prompt to grab the new URL. Just paste that URL into the installer and it will simply update your module with any new content. The second kind of update is any updates I do during that month. In this case, the URL doesn't change, and all you have to do is click the update button for the Baileywiki modules in Foundry, or "update all" which will update your Baileywiki modules automatically along with everything else. So all you really have to remember is to change the monthly update link, which I'll notify you about when it happens. Usually around the 2nd of the month.

To update these, if already installed, do we just do the install the same way? Pasting the Manifest URL into the Installer? I assume Deleting them would cause problems inside our games, but maybe not, as everything is coming from the Compendiums anyways. I am a bit curious what happens though if we have done an Import-All on the Scenes Compendium, but then an update occurs. Is there a good way to "re-import all" ?

Are you referring to the little lock symbol over the "Baileywiki" Compendiums that appear in your compendium tab in Foundry? That isn't a lock on the content. Just a safety lock to prevent you from accidentally changing the content. Just click one of the Compendiums and it will open in Foundry. From there, right-click any of the entries and choose "import" to import it into your world. And come to my Discord of you want more help. It's easier to chat there.

Yep, that's right. When I release new content, it updates to the private install link and to Forge. You're choice which one you want to use. They're exactly the same.
