Baileywiki July 2024 Release - Docks, Farms, Walled Cities and More!

It's a real barn burner this month! Another mega-release for Dungeondraft users, a 3x expansion of the Terrain Spawning system, this time with rural/farm, docks, and walled cities, and lots of new 3D props and scenes with crazy puzzles and interactions to wow your players!

v12 Support is here! Plus, we're dual-releasing on v11, so choose your poison! But you've got our blessing on v12 if you think you're ready!

If you DO update to v12, make sure you check out the recent tutorial on Parallax Tiles to create some cool overhead effects with these new assets!

Basic Foundry Tiers

New terrain spawner tiles to expand your settlements, including a new randomization function to really spin that wheel of discovery!, new farm and dock prefabs, presets, tiles, and audio, including 6 new sailing vessels!

Advanced Foundry Tiers

All new 3D assets for decorating forest scenes, a giant 'experimental' scene that shows early promise along with some great puzzle scenes and ambient wastlelands.

Dungeondraft Tiers

Nearly 1,500 new assets this month, including all the kitbash wood components that generated hundreds of pieces of furniture last month, as well as all the bed pieces like blankets, pillows, and mattresses, in addition to the spawner tile images and other elements of this month's Foundry release.

Mass Edit

v12 support! Plus support for new Foundry Regions! Also, Tag Selector, maintain rotate/scale in brushes, and ambient sounds/WEBM preview-on-hover.

Version 12 Support is Here!

If you want to update to v12 and have it work with Baileywiki content, you now have our blessing. INSTRUCTIONS: (1) Backup your world. (2) Update to Foundry v12, (3) Reinstall all Baileywiki modules.

Version 11 Support: 

Not ready to update to v12 yet? This release is also available to v11 users. Just update your Baileywiki modules like normal and you will automatically get the v11 versions of this release. NOTE: We will discontinue v11 support next month (starting Aug 3, 2024)

PREFABS AND PRESETS:

Prefabs are created with Token Attacher and have a ‘control token’ that can be moved around the scene. Presets are typically made with Tiles or other entities and have special properties (given by other modules like Token Magic FX, Levels, or Monk’s Active Tiles).

A “brush” is a preset that already includes more than one tile and possibly other effects or metadata from other modules.

Just because we talk about it, we're not responsible for 3rd party developers. We are beholden to Foundry's development cycle, and we don't have the capacity to support two versions across thousands of prefabs and scenes. While we like automation and talk about it, our actual Patreon content doesn't have anything to do with automated combat. But, ultimately, we are seeing automation catch up or v12 and will cover it when it does. I know it's not ideal, but it's the best we can do when we don't control all these independent players.

"NOTE: We will discontinue v11 support next month (starting Aug 3, 2024" You guys advertise automation for Foundry with multiple youtube videos, and yet decide you'll drop support for V11 before the automation you promote supports v12? That doesn't make any sense at all.
