Sneak Peek: Full 3-dimensional buildings coming this week

Hey Patreons, 

Well, you've been waiting for almost a year for Class 1 Buildings to arrive. And now they're here. But you're not going to believe what you're going to be able to do with them.

This video is not public yet, but it gives you full tutorials and walkthrough of the release coming later this week.

The assets themselves are quite optimized for size. As for the system in general, I have a mid-range computer and it performs quite well. If you watch the video, with the exception of the demo that was sped up, the rest of the video was in real time and you can see that it was pretty snappy. Vision calculations are all done by the local machine and don't require many resources from the host. Of course, you can't build extremely tall and extremely wide. That would be like designing a giant map in Foundry which is going to have performance problems the more walls and lights that you add.

This looks amazing! My biggest question is, how will this impact performance on the user end? Foundry (for me) is hosted on a friend's computer and seems to work just fine for "normal" maps.

Everything is part of the same system, if that's what you're asking? Meaning, you can put class three in class two buildings together with class one buildings however you like.

Will „the town“ buildings be added to the prefab-buildings ?
