Added 2023-02-03 07:03:01 +0000 UTCSHES DONE i seriously am so excited about this cosplay- iβve been wanting to cosplay annie since i binge watched the boys when i was in quarantine in 2020 and she was this character i immediately connected with and related to and she helped pull me out of the depressive episode i was in at the time. then, after a very rough breakup with my partner at the time who had always called me the annie to his hughie, told me how much i reminded him of annie, compared our relationship to theirs constantly and got mad when other people said i reminded them on annie lol iβ¦ found it really hard to even watch the show. iβve been rewatching it for the first time since that relationship ended to prepare for this cosplay though and- iβve just been able to fall back in love with it and completely reclaim it and reclaim annie as a character, because why should i let my love for her be tainted by someone who emotionally abused me? i sHOULDNβT. i love annie and iβll love her forever and my love for her belongs to me ONLY and no one gets to taint that and i LOVE THIS COSPLAY
