I think it does look somewhat better, but what do you guys think? Should I continue to try writing in handwritten SFX myself? Use fonts instead? Or would you prefer to leave them untranslated so that they're not too jarring to look at?

Yeah...The ages are definitely a bit of an issue lol. I agree that Sayaka and the taller girls in general seem to be significantly older than they actually are, but I guess it's really supposed to be thought of as any other shonen manga full of fanservice, just with muscle girls instead. I have to admit that while it doesn't bother me personally since I grew up with these characters, I do think twice about whether I should really be translating fetish content of characters like this. Ultimately, I do it anyway because there's so many fans that have wanted to know what this stuff is all about for years - myself included XD
