Little bit of unintentional villain. Little bit of Mr. Freeze wanting to cure his wife. Unfortunately, when that new phone connected to a cell tower or wifi, it left a fingerprint, linking it with her home. More she uses it like that, the stronger the link. Once the powers-that-be link that phone to Crusher, they can trace it right to her home and identity. Big Data is the other half of the surveillance state. She should keep it as far from her usual haunts as possible, and maybe just replace it frequently, if she can. Interesting premise, I'll keep reading.

Probably for regulations and awareness sake as well as training new hero’s up even if that whole process sounds annoying. I also wonder if your hero appearance matters to be a hero. Like say your power manifests to make you a monstrosity. Are you just automatically unwanted cause it’s not good for PR or does that even matter if your useful
