2026-02-17 19:37:18 +0000 UTCI feel like Elijah is confusing the concepts of "No Legacy" vs. "No Background". "No background" means they didnt come from some vaunted family of deities and had to earn everything themselves. "No Legacy", in a world where your achievements literally define how strong you can scale your power, is a hard indicator of both your potential power AND current power. If you're just squeaking by into demigod with a barely rare-tier class, meanwhile the "good Legacy" folks are scaling into exotic/legendary/mythic? Your stats are being completely eclipsed, in a few tens of levels. I think this is prolly something we'll see when Elijah and Sara visit the trials, that some of them (not all!) may as well be ascendants to him. His power begets a sponsorship, and competing amongst the "no backing" crowd would just be punching down at this point.

Could she find him a good spot to cultivate his cor? Did she have some tips about demi-god level animist What is an ancestral world (beside the next level after rift->dungeon->primal realms)? I could probably come up with some more.

Anyone else thinking that Elijah will run in to that wyrm in the mountains at some point. Probably end up either fighting or talking about trees if its an emerald one.
