For the Friday dedicated to Martina, I've picked 2 photos from another iconic series among the hydrangeas, shot on the Sony A7 + the Leica Summicron-M 90mm, during our second shooting together in July 2018.
I started with mirrorless cameras with this inexpensive Sony to make the most of this mythical lens I had from the film era, back when I was trying to use it on the 1982 Leica M4-P.
It never worked well on that film M, but was disappointing also with the digital M240.
The only cameras with which I managed to make it work as it deserved were the mirrorless cameras, starting with this Sony A7.
Now that I have a new (for me) M body, the M10 Monochrom, I should try this 90mm lens on it as well, and see how it performs with this high class BW sensor, but once more I will have to rely on the back screen if I want to focus it correctly.
2 more photos of Martina from this shooting on my regular social media feed, and on DA Subscriptions.
