Fleshing out a synth voice idea
Added 2023-01-25 15:44:14 +0000 UTCultimately a long old blab about an idea i have as ill develop a mono synth voice for the swtpc but will be multi useable and spur on a couple of modules too
having decided this next few days after finally populating the mfos ultimate boards ill be doing a panel wiring livestream and test livestream for the next video which will also be touching on MFOS and raymond wilson.
after this im going to bash together the first part of the synth voice as i was working it through in the video it has come apparent i need to delve more into the oscillator section which after doing a tad bit of thinking will develop a 40cm wide kosmo format module for to test the concept of the oscillator section but a bit more involved to see what features to bring into the voice. this module i will start to breadboard and stripboard as the project for next week. it gets more busy than the above with a lot of voltage control over a lot of parameters more so than mentioned in the video.

Really cool if you're able to port it to kosmo format. Are you planning any drums to go with this?

2023-01-26 07:41:51 +0000 UTCI was surprised by the square wave outputs only statement at the end of the video. It seems to me that square waves are a bit harsh for cross modulation. I'd make at least one continuous waveform available for modulating the other oscillators.
