5YL UPDATE #37 - How did we handle the Fan Aliens?

So we set aside Ben and Kevin's little portion of the battle for whatever the fan alien might be doing. I left 5 pages open between Danny and Vlad's moment, and Planet Buster's debut.
When we decided to use all three, we set up this board, and sat in a call for a few hours plotting out how this would work. We ended up so pressed for time that I finished Chapter 8 literally minutes before uploading.
As with everything in production, the final result differs a little bit. But you can see how we build the foundation.

Honestly, I was blown away at the creativity. Kevin and Statters combo and the ensuing comedy was my favorite. I also enjoyed Kevin absorbing Soap Reefs powers to use. We haven’t really seen that much in the show other than Kevin absorbing Way Bigs armor and the Four Arms/Heatblast mutation in his first appearance. Hack N Slash was pretty neat as well with the dual/back and forth dialogue.
