Rogue City + some updates

Alright everybody!

I thought it'd be good to start up a new series on a game that people were giving glowing reviews to recently. It's really bloody fun and I hope you enjoy the first little portion.

I want to post a few of these up on here as a sort of mini-series. Later I might re-cut a lot of it for a video on the main channel, but everything up on here will be the longer-form version. I dunno, we'll see what you guys have to say about it and take it from there.

As for other content on Patreon I'm thinking about reviving the Subscriber contracts series with a little participation from you guys in curating what I play as well as maybe setting scores for me to beat. I've been mulling this over for a little while and would love to see it put into action. Leave me your thoughts and if you want to take part, have a think about what kind of contract you want to make. I'll post something up in the coming weeks and get the ball rolling on that going into the new year.

Also, if you have any requests in terms of games you'd like to see in the future, your feedback is not only much appreciated but very much wanted. Leave a wee comment, go on.

Oh and while I remember, I asked on yesterday's LA Noire for you to check out my wee brother's band (Called Mooney), thank you to everyone who's listened so far, if you haven't, give it a wee listen (https://open.spotify.com/artist/6oSMcnn50TfLkz43AprTaE?si=XqFLwRNOSYyf-lmbsmuI4w), they're sound as fuck and make some great music.

Anyway aye, enjoy the video and the rest of your day. Have a good one. Oh and Merry Christmas.

Huge fan of Hitman and also despise Colorado, but I try to get better at it. Watching your content more or less got me to immediately stop using the sieker and kalmer guns. La Noire was amazing, and I am watching the Mafia play through presently. I love these sorts of games, and puzzle games. I consider Hitman a problem solving/puzzle game. Contracts coming back would be awesome. "Limbo and Inside" might make for a fun quick play through for you. Thanks for the content as it makes me laugh and thats something I need often. cheers

Hansoncrack

Always a good day when you upload. RoboCop looks like it has potential. But your playthrough of LA NOIRE is brilliant. I'm also a big Paddy Strongjaw fan. Cheers and Merry Christmas, BigM!

I was thinking of suggesting Robocop. Pretty neat, but also sad, that an indy game is way more fun than some triple A game that cost twice as much. I dunno how you feel about Final Fantasy 7, but you could do a Shinra Employment Services challenge where it randomizes a "job" for each character for the run. What is FF7:SES? Final Fantasy 7: Shinra Employment Services is a challenge run for the original FF7, similar in vein to what you might see in FF5's "Four Job Fiesta" challenge runs. The basic premise is rather than being able to use any Materia on any character you please, additional challenge is placed on the run via forcing each playable character into pre-generated (using this very website "ff7.run" is the website) jobs. For example, your Cloud may draw the job of the Pyromaniac and be limited to the following Materia: Fire, All, Elemental, Final Attack, MP Turbo, Magic Counter, Quadra Magic, Magic Plus, Mega All, MP Plus, Ifrit, and Phoenix. That should make for an interesting long term play through

And as always I'm glad to see you return

Adventures of RoboMooney can't wait to see this!

Zhe

I was skeptical about the band, but aye fair dues man.. Pretty decent :)

I think a contract post with voting for the top few would work fine. Then a separate post with those, and things like scores would make the curating process better.

Extraordinaire Andy

I would absolutely love to see you have a go at playing through some GTA 5 missions using the chaos mod. It's created some of the funniest stuff I've ever seen on YouTube and I think with your sense of humour and the bizarre things that can happen, it'd be amazing. Loved the latest LA Noire video. Your voice overs are hilarious :D

Derek Brealey

I would love to see a Robocop series but love all the content and the channel. Following the LA Noire theme you could try Sherlock Holmes Crime and Punishment with the legendary Scottish Voiceover Monolgue. Have a good Christmas. Cheers for all the 2023 content

Frankiensaff

Definitely think you should continue both this and Black Mesa, and of course I'd never forgive myself if I didn't once again ask for a continuation of the Adventures of Wan Baw McGraw, whether it's in FO4 or some other game

possiblestranger

I definitely would like an entire playthrough of this though!

BONKERS

Did you ever finish Black Mesa? I don't recall the last bit of the game ever going up in a video.

BONKERS

Much love mooney. Love from India. Your content has given me so many laughs since the Fallout 4 days. Cheers man

Anything from you is gonna be good bigmooney!

As someone who still has an old Gen console, I’m up for a RoboCop playthrough. I’d like to suggest taking a look at the real time strategy game Impossible Creatures. It’s main premise is taking two animals, for example an Ant and an Elephant, and mixing their body parts together to create a hybrid creature that you then use to fight other combined creatures. Creating creatures is really fun, there’s a bunch of different abilities that creatures have like camouflage and digging, some have ranged attacks like tongue or water spitting. The main story is also silly and it’s set in the 1930s.

Great to see you back on here and on Youtube recently, been missing your great jokes. As for a game, I heard that new Avatar game is similar to Far Cry? Might be up your street if that type of gameplay hasn’t been completely soured for you by Far Cry 6. I loved your FC5 series. Also since you asked a while back, are you still thinking of doing hitman escalations again? Loved your old videos on those and some of the deadly sins ones are interesting if you haven’t done them already.

Sniffleguy

Got a contract I made for you that I've wanted to share for awhile now, on none other then on your favorite map in the series of course. That being Colorado ;) It's on PC and is Silent Assassin possible, and you can try to beat my high score if you'd like :) Here is the Contract ID if you or anyone else wants to attempt it: 1-09-2048848-34

HandsomeJackBoy

The gameplay looks fun but yeah the faces are a bit...retro (trying to be nice)? The track you put over the LA Noire credits really suited the game. Have a good one!

Simon

I'm not a Hitman contractor creator and so I don't really have an idea for scores per se, but do know I'll welcome any Hitman content from you with open arms. Well, I mean, any content (LA Noire is great!), but Hitman especially - that's what pulled me into the Mooneyverse back in 2017! Thanks for the entertainment you provide ^^

BusDriverer

Is hitman still not cross platform for contracts? I'd love to see some more of those again. Honestly I think seeing you play more horror is always great and idk if you've ever thought about the sims 4 but I feel like your commentary on that would be gold tier 🤭 Welcome back, chief!

RadicalRed

good to see you again mooney!
