Leica Masterclass Shoot
Added 2019-06-01 07:34:57 +0000 UTCI'm at the hotel right now, after a great Day 1 (of three). Luckily, the other model in this seminar is one I already know! Amanda Kelly, who I met on a shoot with Emily Bloom) is here with me! She's launching her patreon today so I've been helping her with that :) Go Amanda!
The shooting location is a beautiful desert home in Palm Springs, filled with orange and lemon trees, horses, cats, and they even have a 14 year old high-content wolfdog (who is a very sweet good-boi and likes to beg for tortilla chips).
The instructor (who has shot me in the past and is making a book of our shoot together), has been a Vogue cover photographer since he was 23! Damn, I gotta step it up, lol. Not only am I modeling with some of the best photographers I've ever met, but this masterclass offers some of the best lensing and cameras available to try. One of Leica's featured photographers is giving me a class tomorrow after the shoot and I'll be able to take some pics for myself.
The class is really respectful, the production manager, Sage, is an absolute DOLL. Super on top of things, very firm with safety and production briefings, and a talented photographer herself.
The hotel is really nice and upscale. Beautiful bathtub that I'll have to take some selfies in ;) Tomorrow we shoot in Joshua Tree, so I'm not sure if I'll have signal during the daytime.
