Update about Baby Boy
Added 2019-04-02 21:37:41 +0000 UTCMy ferret (Baby Boy or BB) was rushed to the vet this morning for being stumbly and not present. His BG was at 39, which is critically low-- lowest it's ever been. He could have died. We doubled his dose of prednisone and was given an antibiotic for his diarrhea. We're taking him off the raw diet for now and I'm trying grain-free raw instinct, hoping his poop solidifies. Ferrets are VERY picky eaters and it's hard to change their diet once they've imprinted on a food, but he took to the instinct immediately. He views it as a treat so hopefully the transition goes well.
