The Tsurara-onna, or "icicle woman", is an ice elemental that lives on snowy mountains and has cold touch and pale skin. Tsurara-onnna are beautiful women giving the sharp, cold and beautiful impression like icicles.

Although they look similar to yuki-onna because they are closely-related to yuki-onna and have a same origin, tsurara-onna is the monstrous race having more succubus-like and violent temperament, as compared with yuki-onna, the race having mild nature.

They are tormented by loneliness and emptiness due to their ice mana freezing their hearts. For this reason, they strongly desire a heat inhabiting human man. When prey, a human man visit a snowy mountain, the tsurara-onna aggressively attacks and assaults him in pursuit of debauchery and pleasure, which melt the her body and the heart.

As the name, "icicle woman" suggests, they can manipulate their ice mana by transmutating into icicles. When prey try to resist them, a hail of icicles will rain down on prey. The icicles never hurt, however ice mana spreads throughout the whole body from the penetrated part, and the power freezing heart brings intolerable loneliness and emptiness. As the heart freezes, the man become unable to think about anything in coldness, he will be unable to move huddling himself up and shivering. Only the heat of monsters directed to men can melt the frozen heart, thus the warmness never be bring to his heart until he is embraced and assaulted by her. When he attacked in such a condition, he cannot resist to pleasantness and hotness of monster melting the heart and the body, consequently he will ends up to give himself to her.

Tsurara-onna take the prey back to her home licking her lips, then she devour his essence and heat with her body, and pour the frantic and lascivious heat, which from woman to man, and enjoy intercourse making them feel as if they are melting together.

She desires frozen herself to be always melted by her husband, she is extremely greedy for her husband's heat for that reason. She attempts not only to sleep together with her husband, devote herself in the heat of intercourse, and bathe in the semen of her husband the day and night, as long as she can, but also to enjoy all of his heat leaning in close to him and twining her body when she has a chance.

Contrary to her aggressive nature, she also devotes herself to her husband, and takes care of him. It is said that such actions showering husband with love without physical contact are one of luscious action bringing the heat and melting her heart.

However, in contrast to yuki-onna seducing a man to make her his wife with graceful action, tsurara-onna forces herself upon him, assaults him to please his body and devote herself to him to please his heart without having a choice.

Her devoted behavior is also an action as the dangerous monster who loves her husband with the desire.
