①「明かりが消えた部屋…」
雨の夜、呼び出されたホテルの一室。
扉を開けると、室内は薄暗く、誰もいない。
「……ねぇ、冗談でしょ？」──
②「夜の撮影スタジオ…」
撮影のため一人残ったスタジオ。
ふと振り返ると、暗がりから視線を感じる。
「……スタッフ、もう全員帰ったはずなのに……」──
③「沈む夜、揺れる湯面…」
湯けむりの奥で、静かな音がした。
客がいないはずの露天風呂で、あかねは胸の奥に広がる寒気を押し殺す。
「……誰か、いるの？」
夜気に混じる湯気が揺れ、返事のない闇の中で、水面が小さく波打った。
その手でお腹をそっと庇いながら、彼女は振り返る。
そこには、誰もいない――はずだった──
