Then next week I'm going to post 2 Hunter x Hunter, 1 JJK, and the AOT finale, and start Steins Gate the following week (slightly different from what I originally planned).

This is why Kyoto Animation is the GOAT studio in Japan and why there production value is unmatched... they treat their employee's ethically and actually give significant amounts of time to fully finish and even polish there work. Why God, why, did the 2019 arson attack have to happen to them...

So idk if that could be done, and knowing their shitty business practices, I’d kind of assume that if they did choose that route then the animators would probably make even less money cause management would attempt to recoup those fees

I’ve got my fingers naively crossed hoping for some sort of arrangement or compromise before episode 19, like maybe heavy outsourcing of the final episodes like this past episode was done. But Yeah management has fumbled this project so hard that if episodes 19-23 end up as bad as they’re warning they might be, the backlash online is gonna be BIBLICAL. As heartbroken and devastated as I am to see management fuckin up (what I consider to be) arguably the best combat shounen arc of all time, this level of scandal also might be just what Mappa needs to finally learn a fuckin lesson and improve conditions for good. If episodes 19-23 end up being released as poorly as the animators have warned of them, there’s literally 0 chance that anyone in management can move past this without significant changes moving forward.

It's a little funny, though, since the "numbers" on the Zoldyck family door are Togashi's invented system of Hunter numbers, haha. Just, use it when you feel like it, but the puns take priority.

People straight up insulting the higher ups at MAPPA (there bosses) and describing the exploitation they are going through currently. Some of the animators even saying they were turning in stick figure drawings of the characters as finalized content because they were being overworked to death. Other storyboarder's and directors for this season talking about/sharing images related to suicide, self-harm, etc. Total fucking meltdown. The Season 1 Jujutsu Kaisen Director left the studio after the overworking during the JJK 0 movie. Here are some of the quotes from the people currently making JJK: "It' s over" "I'll just leave you with the word 'scum'." "I'm seriously deflated. Nothing is fun anymore. I can't stand it." "Bad news came in and it rapidly faded away. The most boring ending imaginable. Ah, the festival is over. Yes, break up, break up." Its Joever.

Instead of that, she says that this will be a "Goukyuu" tour (a tour filled with tears). Kinda like expecting to hear "luxury tour" and instead you hear "[word-that-rhymes-with-luxury-but-means-crying" tour. "Koukyuu" ≃ "goukyuu." That's it. - The height of Kukuroo Mountain is 3776m, just 4 meters higher than Mt. Fuji, which you would assume Togashi is basing that off of, especially with the design.

If they accumulated such wealth from assassination, they must be the absolute best at it, raising the standards for Killua. The Hunter Exam was no joke, yet Killua was throughly dominant and made all of the applicants and himself think he was untouchable, with his power and confidence. However, all of this confidence, intelligence, and strength crumbled when Illumi revealed himself. His feats in the Hunter Exam and the fact that he escaped were made out to just be a childish tantrum by Illumi (a genuine manipulation tactic by downplaying someone’s desires). Even if Killua was 1 in a billion in aptitude, he would still be in the position of the unruly, foolish child in the family due to them being above his level.

The first 30mins are recap from the series which you could skip cause the actual title card for the movie shows up and its all new content from there, so its barely even a movie its only an hour or so long. Wouldn't be a huge time commitment. I just watched it finally and it was absolutely incredible. One of, if not the, best part of all of Fruits Basket. Had me crying my eyes out. Please watch!
