2023-10-16 16:52:15 +0000 UTCObviously I need to see it to believe it but it makes sense. Leviβs design was based on a certain future character, so itβs not out of the ordinary for mangaka to borrow design aspects in that way. Even Togashi himself does that quite a bit.

Many people starting the show may dismiss things like what you say as βcool anime kid who has a dark sideβ or βsimple anime protagonist takes things at face valueβ (like I did tbh). An amazing thing about HxH that Iβve found is that you donβt need to suspend your disbelief as much as youβd expect and there is more to read into in the interactions and more logic at play than you may think.
