Bake that cake!

Good day all! First off, let's start with mentioning the hubpage. It's has older projects and links to older versions of current project. You can find it HERE.

So I've started working on the New 18Titans build, but also on fixing some still remaining bugs in the latest FET early access build. In fact, I updated the last early access build to v1.1.1.3h just a few moments ago.

Which means I skipped version g. Actually, I sent version g out to less than a handful of people with specific problems to see if it would solve them. Despite what it sometimes seems, I don't enjoy having players download the same version with only minor bugfixes again and again... so I tried to be a bit more careful this time around and go slow.

This h version was necessary because a softlock during Book 2 could prevent the player from giving tactical advice to Rei which would completely block you from progressing. Oh, and to fix the inability during book 1 to buy scrolls. These weren't old bugs, even though they were causing problems in the older books. I accidentally added them during my week of multitasking a while ago.

I rewrote a few things during that week in what I thought was shorter new cool way! And didn't bother to check it enough... hence bugs! I've been comparing older and new scripts to see if I didn't do that elsewhere. I didn't think I did, but I figured I better double check that shit! Luckily I only found a few instances of it.

Other than that I've added a few more hints for people to reach the Glacier Spirits Festival and added scenes to book 2's love gallery. I've been neglecting the gallery baaadly so I needed to start adding to that again and will try and keep doing that from now on. Basically the new h version does nothing too exciting unless you just happened to step into one of the bugs I mentioned earlier. If you didn't, don't bother downloading it.

Anyway, back to what I'm doing now. I started work on the new 18Titans build and it'll be interesting to see how far I'll get with that this month. I'm considering just releasing whatever I have ready at the end of this month so I can restart my normal monthly schedule... emphasis on considering. I'll see once I get closer to the end of the month. That's it for the "game news". From here on out, off-topic stuff!

Since I sit behind a screen all day I needed a hobby which isn't gaming or anything else which has me looking at that same screen and I decided to start modeling scantily clad women instead of drawing them :) I mean... I'm still me after all! I also figured the muscles in my hand would like the change of pace. My hand is still doing fine and I like to keep it that way.

I started out modelling with normal clay, but it's heavy and everything gets covered with muck so I started using Styrofoam and electrical wires as a skeleton, but that didn't really work out as well as I had hoped. It's lighter, but the clay doesn't really want to stick to the Styrofoam and everything gets just as covered with clay as before.

So now I started using foam clay combined with wood and stripped electrical wire. I strip the wire, strip the bark of a small branch and just push the wire through the core of the branch and create a makeshift skeleton. It's much more solid than my Styrofoam contraptions.

It still looks like crap, but it's clean, light weight, doesn't get everything covered with clay and is just a blast to do.

I especially like the fact I can reuse the foam clay by cutting it up into pieces and adding some hot water to revert it to it's kneadable form. If you leave it out in the air it slowly dries and hardens, resembling Styrofoam. So yeah, that's really helping me do other things than stare at a screen all day everyday which is great!

I will have to get myself some eyes and a doll's wig or something eventually to spice it up since I don't think I can do that myself... but let's see what I can do with just the stuff I have before that.

Oh! I also bought a new old wacom tablet(the kind I like and am always on the lookout for) but it turned out to be broken on arrival :(

If I break the last working pen I have, I'll have to start using the "new" (15 years old?) intuos 3 tablets instead. I have butter fingers... even if they're not covered with wet clay so the chance of that happening is more likely than you think.

More on that and the Titans build later this month! Let's see if I can give "her" legs and boobage by then!
