Hello, I'm Satoh.

Summer is in full swing in Japan, and very hot days are continuing day after day.

The temperature in some places is over 40 degrees Celsius, which may be due to global warming, and I can feel that the temperature is getting hotter year by year.

I am trying to keep myself in good physical condition to avoid losing out to the heat and continue to work every day.

Recently I have been concentrating on drawing the monsters for the final stratum.

As I mentioned in my previous Letter, I decided to add new monsters to the final stratum too in 2,

so this time you will be able to enjoy a variety of monsters until the end of the game.

I was able to finish drawing most of the monsters in the final stratum, and I can count the remaining ones on one hand.

My original plan was to have 80-90 new monsters in 2,

but there were so many motifs I wanted to draw that the final number is likely to be around 105, surpassing the 103 in the former game.

I have been working steadily and patiently on this game, and I am a little surprised myself when I think that I have designed more than 200 characters.

I have drawn many unique designs for the monsters in the final stratum too, so please look forward to seeing them.

Once I have finished drawing the monsters, I will start making the map of the final stratum.

In this letter, I would like to introduce two new monsters.

This is one of the new monsters, Abaddon.

Abaddon is a demon said to be the owner of the abyss.

Abyss and Hell are often represented with dark colors, but I tried to give this monster an alternate-dimension feel with spectrum colors.

Here is another one of the new monsters, Belial.

He is a fallen angel monster based on the dark angel suit that appeared as a costume in the former game.

This time, with sincere gratitude for you, supporters,

I drew a "Midsummer Blazing Sun Special"-themed special illustration for you.

This is Red Knight from the fire monsters.

He is a hot monster, perfect for midsummer.

The red knight is the monster counterpart to the blue knight previously drawn,

and is a monstrous being with a soul in an old piece of armor.

Since the original owners were strict knights, they are both disciplined and gentlemanly in some ways.

The armor-clad knight monster will appear as a new monster in the sequel too, so please look forward to it.

I am now down to a few more new monster designs for 2 that I have been working on for a couple of years.

I will keep my mind tight and work hard so that I will not let up until the very end.

Of course, there is still much work to be done to complete the game itself,

so I will continue to work on it while taking care of my health.
