Spring has come and it is cherry blossom season in Japan.

Last year and this year were both springtime in the midst of a virus disaster, but I hope that next year will be a normal year for us.

And I would like to continue working on the game so that you can enjoy the completed game.

The third stratum of the dungeon has been completed, and all that remains is to set up the monsters' status and make the event scenes.

Normally, I use free tileset or those sold for a fee to build maps.

However, since the theme of the map of the third stratum was something that is not seen in many other games, it was difficult to make it using the tilesets as they were.

So I had a lot of effort in editing the images, modifying the tilesets and changing the colors.

Thanks to that, I'm satisfied with myself that I was able to create a dungeon that follows the theme I had in mind.

The process to complete one stratum is like this.

Design and draw images of the monsters that will appear in that stratum → Consider the skill set of each monster and create the necessary skills.

→Set the status of the monsters as allies →Draw the event scenes for each main character

→Modify and edit the tilesets for the dungeon map →Create the necessary amount of dungeon maps

→Set monsters' status and behavior as enemy →Place Symbol monsters

→Write the text for the event scene and complete the scene →Create events such as conversations in the dungeon

→Test play, balance adjustment

If I do this for about five layers (plus some extra parts), I can complete the game.

It's a lot of work, but I'm enjoying it because I can see it taking shape as I go along.

In this letter, I would like to introduce the new system, two costumes for the main characters, and a new monster.

I previously introduced the main characters in their swimsuits.

At the time, I was thinking of having the partner characters wear swimsuits in the sea stratum.

However, I thought it would be more fun if you could choose your partner's costume as well, so I decided to make it so that you can change it.

If you talk to your partner in town, you can ask him to change into one of the costumes you have acquired.

You can also see the costume in its broken state when you select it.

The costumes you choose will be reflected in the pictures you see during conversations.

Of course, this is also reflected when you use Linkage in battle.

There won't be as many different types of costumes as there are for the protagonist, but I hope you' ll enjoy having your partner character wear whatever you like.

Unlike the swimsuits, it has nothing to do with the theme of the labyrinth, but I drew a series of uniforms as a kind of costume for partners.

This is a school uniform costume for Eight.

It's a simple school uniform that matches the ant monsters.

This is a uniform costume for Reo.

It is a uniform with the image of a summer uniform, perfect for the energetic Reo.

I will introduce the rest of the characters' uniform costumes in the next letter.

This is one of the new monsters, Mech Freezer.

It's designed to look like an ice-making android.

It's a counterpart to the flamethrower-like MechBurner that I introduced last time.

Like a 3D printer, it can produce ice in various shapes with high precision.

This time, with sincere gratitude for you, supporters,

I drew a "Cherry Blossom"-themed special illustration for you.

This is Yojimbo, from Japanese style monsters.

He is a perfect monster for the cherry blossom season.

He's designed to look like an aloof Japanese swordsman.

The pose he takes in the game is an easter egg of a monster from a certain game.

It may be obscure, but JRPG fans might get the reference.
