My prediction...BM will be the biggest! The K-Pop training process is "cut throat" to say the least. Marketing is a big part of it.

And, I know my request is Behind the scenes,it's bts of Japan tour.... which is different say than behind the scenes of something you already saw like a music video or something BUT, it's not your normal bts....because there's no official 'on the scene footage ' and its the only official BM concert footage for now. It's more like a variety show I think it's part of the BaemonTV as well? Like Fan name and light sick announcement they did in firm of News Show

We watched these episodes once a week, and it is so tense cause we want our OT 7 can debut in final. Anyway, I am so glad you deep diving BM even they already debuted. It's totally worth it to check out their other contents, thanks in advance.

2024-08-15 15:54:50 +0000 UTCExactly, the signs were there for me from the get go. I thought it was crazy that YG would would put out the performances and intro vids then cut members. As soon as all 7 members were posting tiktoks on the official channel (which launched in early feb 2023) I was positive it was marketing. I want to believe that the members reactions in that video were genuine and suspect it was filmed sometime in late Oct 2022, after Haram's birthday.

He made it seem like there would be five girls up until the last second when he had everyone’s attention

He acknowledged that 98-99% of the fans were demanding all 7 members debut and about how "YG Family" wasn't just a crew of YG artist but the fans as well and that he struggled with whether his original idea was the right idea. I watched the original announcement and the comment section was a solid wall of "OT7" responses. I know it was all marketing but some of the cuts in the member version left out some important context of the thought process.

The announcement was already filmed well in advance and there was no "audience influence." Early on in the process, YG might have been thinking 5 members, but by the time it was down to the 7, he just couldn't possibly cut anyone else. The whole thing was a great PR stunt though! 😅

Yes we all thought they were going to debut because why go so far and no to, but im sure we all had 1% of doubt and those two weeks killed us with just that 1% lol Plus, i wish there was a stage only shot of the 2N1 mashup but sadly no, however, they perform that on their fan meeting concerts and its gotten even better, maybe on stream one day yall can watch one of them

Trust me , I was about to fly back to Korea and throw hands with YG for this 😂 - also , I’m sure he realized that not debuting all 7 was gonna be the biggest mistake YGE could’ve done.
