Beyond The Mist EA Update May 2025

Hellooooo, everyone!

It's our fave time of the month: BtM time. I come to you with another update, and it's a BEEFY one, too!

This one stands at 3000 words compared to the usual 2000, because—just like last time—I aim to spoil you w̶i̶t̶h̶ s̶m̶u̶t̶t̶y̶ c̶o̶n̶t̶e̶n̶t̶~

This time around, Zach steals the spotlight! Like before, you'll get the most content if you're in the Cy & Zach poly or the Zach solo route!

This update features:

1) Cy and Zach being IN THE SAME SCENE AT THE SAME TIME for the first time? Check! (And it's…spicy😏)

Hey, folks!

Hey, everyone!

It’s that time again—BtM Early Access update time! But ohhhh boy, this one? This one is special. 👀🔥

To celebrate the completion of TSSW 3 as well as to thank all the lovely patrons who have supported me on this crazy journey….

I’m dropping TWO BtM updates this month instead of one.

That’s 4,000 words for the price of 2,000. Twice the heat. Twice the buildup. Twice the horny.

And okay, listen… Yes, this is a gift to you. But also? It’s kinda selfish. Because this update contains a scene I’ve been feral to write since forever.

Progress Update Feb 2025

Hey, everyone!

It's time for another progress update, don't you think? I've been REALLY excited for this one, because uh….

It might just be one of the last ones for TSSW 3?!!!!! YES, YOU HEARD THAT RIGHT! I finished Straasa's route, as well as the MS route!

Now, I'm already halfway through Eledwen and Daelynn's solo routes!! And then I have to write the MD and DE poly (which are also 1/3 of the way done).

These things really shouldn't take more than…3 more months? AT MAXIMUM! So YEAH! This update might just be one of the last 4 before the game is complete!

I expect to be done with both Eledwen and Daelynn solo routes by the end of March, and then it will also depend on how fast the last two polys go, because these routes are always the longest.

(If I ever decide to do more than one poly per game again, someone please knock me out and put me out of my misery, BECAUSE I WILL HAVE LOST MY MIND!)

It's been a wild ride, but it's ALMOST over now!! I just have the last push left! WISH ME LUCK, EVERYONE!

And BtM has been going great too! Still making steady progress on the second to last big segment, and we are nearly there with the art department! as well! Maybe 4 more backgrounds left? Give or take!

We're seriously at the final countdown for both games, AND I CAN'T WAIT TO FINISH THEM SO I CAN SHOW YOU ALL!!

Progress Update Jan 2025

Hey, everyone!

First update of the year, yay! And it's a GOOD one! 🤩

Writing has been going marvelously this month! For TSSW, I am pleased to announce that Morkai's route has been FINISHED!

Yes, you heard that right! His route is complete! Next up is finishing Straasa's,  which shouldn't take more than a week and a half or so, since his route is pretty much 3/4 done!

So yeah! Once I finish Straasa's too, I will focus on getting ALL the routes published to the public demo.

That's probably coming in March or thereabouts, so something to look forward to!

As for BtM, things are BEAUTIFUL on that front too! I managed to commission lots of art this month, so we're at the halfway point with the backgrounds,  maybe even a bit further along!

And writing for it has been going amazing! I'm well into the second to last big segment, and the situation is escalating rapidly across the board!

Homicidal entities? Check. Obsessed love interests? Check. One hapless MC along for the ride? DOUBLE CHECK! 🤣🤣

Aaaand I found music that I like for the game! So there's that too!

Everything is coming together so beautifully, and I just can't wait to show you guys!

Tier Changes

Hey, everyone!

A while back, I mentioned that there will be some changes to the rewards I have available, so now it's time to explain what that means.

It's actually only the last tier that will be changed; the one which provides early access to the TSSW 3 alpha build.

Well, this month will be the last where early access is offered. That means that the final EA build will include Morkai, Straasa, and Manerkol's routes, along with Sielthan and Rai's.

From February on, the TSSW 3 early access will be replaced by 4 side stories/scenarios about the the ROs from both my games, starting with Manerkol, Zach, Eledwen, and Straasa.

The early access build will remain up for that tier, for everyone who wants to play it for as long as they like, plus for new members!

​Also, there will be no price hikes for any of the tiers for 2025. I know inflation is hitting us all hard, so the prices will stay as is until 2026!

I'm really looking forward to writing side stories/scenarios again, since I've missed doing that!

So, remember: the change will take effect in February, so if anyone would like to edit/delete their pledge because no more early access content will be released, then do it by the end of January!

Progress Update Dec 2024

Hey, everyone!

Last update for the year 2024! (unless you follow a different calendar, in which case, just another update!)

December has been busy, as it usually is 😂 Lots of work done on both TSSW and BtM! 

Alas, I did not meet my optimistic estimation of finishing the games in 2024 because I keep ADDING things, but what are you gonna do? That's life.

BUT! I do sincerely hope to have them done in 2025, though maybe don't quote me on that~

It's totally worth the wait for me, though, because when I'm finally done, I will be able to say that the games are the best I could possibly make them. Something I can be proud of.

So! Development-wise, for TSSW, I'm 3/4 of the way finished with Morkai and Straasa's individual romance routes! I only really have the intimate scenes (both emotionally and physically) left to write, plus the closing scene, but they're going to be loooooong, so there's that to look forward to!

Then, for BtM, I'm FINALLY finished with the segment I was working on, which is the first of the three last "chapters". And the art is coming along beautifully too! 

​Zach and Cy have me by the throat, and the web they spin is so intricate and intoxicating that I know for sure that my MC will give into whatever they want LMAO!

I'm so revved up to write it all out, I'm almost vibrating in place hehe! So yeah, 2 more chapters for BtM to be finished!

Wish me luck, folks, so we can get this done in 2025!

Bug Fixes

I got a couple of bug reports for the update—thanks, folks!—and I believe I have fixed the issues. I also forgot to add the save function, so that's in now too! Lemme know if anything goes wrong again~
