神馬と鎧

神馬の鎧は動きやすさ重視で全身チェーンメイル＋特に破壊力を増したい部分に装甲をつけるスタイルが多い。つまり『防具』という側面よりも『武器の強化』という意識が強いのだ。猛スピードで重たく固い神馬が戦場を駆けまわる中、確実に止められるのは同じ神馬だけ。ケープと鬣フリンジはその国のカラーに合わせたものを使われる。

神馬と戦争

神馬同士で戦争する事はないけど、人間同士の戦争はまぁまぁに続いてるのはそうやって闘争心を残しつつ強い人間が残るのは良い事だね？って感じで放置されてて、でも自分の番が参加するならと協力する神馬も居る。それはどの国でもありそうだし、最終的には強い方が残る。神馬も含めた弱肉強食サイクル。

でも敗戦国に対しての扱いはそんな悪くはない。特に敗者側の国民と決着後に生き残った人々は勝った国へと吸収されて、変化する生活とかで苦労する事はあるけれど神馬は人に優しいので新生活を支えようとはしてくれる。奪った側がなにを、と憎まれるのも受け入れて。――奪う側で居続ける限り誰かに憎まれたり恨まれたりする事は絶対にどこかで起こりうることだし、そういう行為に対して責任と覚悟を持って向き合って生きる雄はかっこいい。戦争自体は人間の国が起こした事で、主力兵器として戦っただけの神馬。奥まで探れば悪いのは人間なんだけどね、というエモさ。

神馬と番

複数の神馬が一人の人間に目を付けた場合、人間が全員を婿として迎え入れるか神馬同士で決闘してどっちがその人間の番になるか決めたり結構人それぞれ。負けたら大人しく引く。人間に対する独占欲も個体によって結構違う（アルバンのような執着しない奴もいるくらいだし）愛ある番を壊す人、未来ある人間を多く壊す人、神馬にとって「敵対者」となった瞬間に愛される枠からあっさり外される。悲しい事件の根源は絶対に排除されるから人間としても良いサイクルではあるんだけれど。純粋な愛とヤバイ人外倫理が紙一重なバランスって綺麗で好きだな…人の恋路を邪魔するやつは馬に蹴られて死んじまえのベリーハード版

神馬と極刑

神馬の世界は基本とても人間に優しい（優しい家畜化ではあるが）世界だけど一応「極刑」自体はあって、戦争を除いて「神馬の番（メス）を殺す」「更生不可な殺人犯」などが対象。神馬の国の卵孵化場所にぶち込まれて「力加減の必要が無い」交尾の練習相手をさせられて発狂するまで卵産まされる。人間の形保って出られることはない。実質死刑。神馬との交尾で苦痛を伴うのはこの刑の時ぐらいである。

別に練習をしなくても学習能力はとても高いので普通の勉強で十分力加減なんて覚えられるから、ただただ「可愛がって大事にして生涯を看取る家畜」から「使い倒して良い道具」になってしまっただけ。壊して良いかって感じの安い玩具。神馬に元々ある蹂躙者としての欲望全部出しシーン。

いつでも人間の頼りない皮膚を脆い骨を柔い内臓をめちゃくちゃにできる超強いヤバイ人外が、日ごろからとても手加減と配慮と愛情をもって人間に接してるから穏やかラブラブエッチできてるってこと、よく分かるな。こういうの大好きだな…。

・神馬の上層部的なのはある。上にいけばいくほど人間が知らない本来の神馬の領域に入る。神馬同士でしか伝わらない言語とかある。この辺はまた追々。

Divine Horse and Armor

Divine Horse's armor emphasizes ease of movement, and often consists of full-body chainmail plus armor in the areas where the destructive power needs to be increased. The world of the divine horse is basically a very human-friendly world (although it is a gentle domestication), but there is a "maximum penalty" itself, and except in war, the maximum penalty is handed down for "killing the divine horse's wife" or "murderers who cannot be rehabilitated". You'll be thrown into the egg hatchery in the Land of the Divine Horse, made to practice mating roughly, and made to lay eggs until you go insane.
