Farm Girl Part 1 & 2 (Work in Progress)

Hi everyone! Hope you are all doing okay. I know this last while hasn't been very easy. I'm sorry that I've been so quite. This virus pandemic has affected my work as well :(

But anyways, I got some goodies for all of you :)

First I draw the rough sketch.

Next I did the linework and added the base colours

Here I added some shading and different tones to the colours to give it more life.

Here I added most of the light and highlights. With exception to a few smaller details, the piece is almost done here.

Here is the rough sketch. The background had a lot of perspective elements to it, so it was a fun challenge

Here I did the final linework and base colours. As you can see, the background is fairly detailed, so there was a lot of places that I had to pay close attention to

Here I added some rough shading and light to really start figuring out the piece

Here I defined the shading and light a bit more. I didn't like the colour of her dress, so I changed it to a greyish blue colour. Also, just look at how creepy her eyes are XD

Here is where I put everything together. All that it needs now are some final finishing touches.

It was really important to me to keep the piece as bright as I could, without straying too far from my usual style. I know that I don't really have the cutest or prettiest style, as I generally try to stay in my comfort zone and maintain a high enough standard. But I do want to experiment with ideas every now then. Sometimes they work well, and sometimes they fall flat. But hey, that what happens. It's how I learn
