Korra Hunting (Work in Progress)

Hey everyone! Here's the WIP for Korra Hunting. I have another post coming in on my HF page later tonight, so stay tuned ;)

First, I started off with the rough sketch.

Here I did the final linework and base colours. I felt that the red background would contrast well with her blue top. You'll might notice that the bow is now on her other shoulder and not the one in the rough sketch. I did this to help with the flow of the piece a bit more.

Here I did the rough shading to really define her figure a bit more. I'd say the lighting is a bit dramatic. But I think it adds to the cinematic feeling a bit

Here I added the basic lighting and reflective light. These are two very important steps that either make or break a drawing.

Here I added more highlights to her skin and I mostly finished the shading on her hair. At this point I have almost everything I need. After this I just have smooth it all out and add some final details.
