Here's the rough sketch. Pretty basic
Here I did the final lineart and base colours. The colours are pretty mid range, but a bit more on the lighter side.
Here I established my light and shadows a bit more. This step focuses more on adding different tones than just adding light and shadow. As I ALWAYS say, skin is a combination of many different colours.
Here I smoothed out all the lighting and shading as necessary. I still haven't added anything very dark or very light.
Here I started adding more depth by making the shadows daring, and playing around with the very reflective nature of her skin tight clothing. I also added more lighting to her hair, to establish the values.
Here I finally added the highlight to her skin, to up the contrast and really dig in to that reflective quality that skin has.
From here on out I just did the reflective light and final hard highlights to really round off the piece. I also added a very quick background.
