[Art] Evelyn's Sexy Makeover~!

Hi dearies!

It’s Evelyn! The sexy dean of Oat Pi University!

When I first started redrawing Evelyn, I only planned to explore how she might look in my updated art style without making major changes to her design. 

But as I sketched, I found myself experimenting with her hair and face to give her a more mature and intimidating look, while still keeping her cute and sexy.

While I hadn’t planned for the hair study, I decided to try a new kind of fringe to make her have a unique and interesting silhouette. I still wanted her hair to be in a bun too, even though there’s so much variety in hair buns, I kept it the same!

The challenge was making sure that she looked good from all different angles!  So Zuri and I worked together to find some new face proportions we really liked. 

I had initially tried drawing a head turn-around to explore and refine the details, but I found that experimenting with a variety of poses and expressions helped me figure out her look faster.

In the end, I think I found a cute style that works for her no matter what angle you see her from.

I also spent some time updating her glasses design, moving away from the simple line style I’d used before to give them a bit more character.

With her body, I kept her design mostly the same but added details to her shirt, like how it fit around her body and the seams in the fabric to help show her curves.

I had played with her shirt being tucked in to show off her waist better, but we decided it suited her personality more to leave it loose and hanging out. We wanted her to look the part as a responsible and busy dean, but also down on her luck and almost giving up on caring about appearances.
