Update 3.0 Out Now!

And here it is at long last. Sorry about the wait but I hope you’ll enjoy this update. It’s pretty big and the story is now set up for some pretty crazy things to start going down in episode 4. With a particularly busy stage of my life now behind me, if all goes well we should be back to updates every 2-3 months from this point forward. Thanks for supporting me and the game’s development during this extended break, I couldn’t be happier to finally get some more of my vision into your guys hands.

10/06/2025 - Update 3.0 Release Time

So it’s been a little while since I’ve given you all an update on the development of the game and that’s because I’ve had my head down working hard on getting the next update ready for you all as soon as possible. It’s taken a lot longer than I would have liked but I can now confidently say the update will be releasing a little later this month. Since it’s been so long since the last one and I can’t wait to get this new content drop in your hands I will be skipping the early access period for patreon subscribers. I’m incredibly grateful to my supporters and will continue to provide you guys with extra rewards and bonus lewd renders but as it’s been so long I feel it unfair to keep all of Twinewood's fans waiting any longer. However as an extra thank you to my supporters I’ve included a fun little add-on to one of the upcoming scenes that will only be accessible to those with the V.I.P code until it's made available in the base game later in development.

Things will probably be a little quiet around here for a just a bit longer whilst I work hard on getting everything polished and ready for you guys to play so expect the next update on here to be the big release!

Thank you all so much for bearing with me during this time, rest assured I will try my hardest to keep the window between updates from being so long again. I’ve talked in previous dev logs about what sort of content will be included in the update, mainly the conclusion of episode 3, but for those who are interested below is an updated version of the patch notes.

26/03/2025 - 3.0 Release Notice

Good afternoon Twinewood connoisseurs! Professional Degenerate here to give you all an update on the progress of update 3.0, Twinewood’s largest update ever. As I’m sure you’re all aware, the original plan was for the update to drop at the end of this month and it’s been a little while since I’ve checked in with you all to provide any insight as to what’s going on. Unfortunately I am going to announce that Twinewood update 3.0 will no longer be releasing in March, it simply just isn’t ready yet. Development has been progressing smoothly but I lowballed the release window and am going to need more time to get everything finished. As a bit of compensation I’ve decided to give you all a bit more insight into what exactly you can expect from the new content. Minor spoilers ahead.

Firstly, you will be heading back to the lake with Kara or Maya to deepen your bond in the best way possible, sans clothing. Expect things to take a spicy turn as you run into some old acquaintances.

Next, it’s time for the academy physical where you’ll be meeting the Nurse and getting to know her rather unique personality. After all is said and done she might need a bit of assistance providing you with a rather fortunate (and lewd) opportunity.

And for the last of the main sexy scenes it’s time to once again meet up with Kara or Maya to practice your presentation. What’s the saying about beating stage fright? Imagine everybody naked..?

I can’t wait for you all to get to experience these scenes in full, along with even more in the conclusion to episode 3! I’m not going to give another concrete release date but just know I’m working to bring it to you all as soon as I can. For now, stay pervy

12/02/2025 - 3.0 Development Continued

Hey guys, I just wanted to share my progress with update 3.0 since it’s been a little while. Things are progressing smoothly but the scope of the update has gotten a little bigger, so it’s still not quite ready for release unfortunately. Since 3.0 is a big milestone I want this version of the game to feel like a complete package and am going through the existing content and tweaking things to feel a little more polished, hence the new love interest bio screens I showcased a while back. I’ve also gone and re-rendered a few sex scenes and am in the process of completely re-writing Kara and Maya’s characters to feel a little more unique to the rest of the cast. All that’s left to do now is admittedly the largest task, adding the new scenes to finish off episode 3.

Thanks to my current real world situation with having to write a large dissertation for my final year of Uni a lot of my writing energy has been a little lacklustre so the new scenes still haven’t been fully written but I’m aiming to have everything done by the end of March. (No promises.) Sorry if things get a little quiet around here for a bit, but I’ll keep doing my best to share the occasional bonus renders and teasers with you all as a thanks for your continued support! <3

Side Project - Baldur's Gate 3 Immersive Nudity

Just thought I'd plug one of my side projects here for those who might be interested. For a few months now I've been working on a series of mods for Baldur's Gate 3 which introduce a considerably higher amount of nudity to the game in immersive (alright semi immersive) ways. They are still very much a work in progress and the main part isn't even out yet (I'm aiming to release it just after the games next big patch) but hey, if your a fan of the game and Twinewood's attitude towards nudity, you'll probably enjoy em.

06/01/2025 - Update 3.0 Announcement

Hey guys, it’s been a little while but I’m finally back, and with me I bring tidings of the next update of Twinewood and the conclusion to episode 3. Update 2.6, the next update of the game will now be update 3.0 as I’ve decided to just go for it and make it a big one which finishes the episode. If all goes to plan this means it should include -

• A remade GUI for the girls bio screen.

• Two large events with Kara // Maya (Including proper lewd scenes!)

• The academy physical scene featuring many of your favourite girls.

• A final main story event teasing the contents of episode 4.

• Plenty of fixes and typo corrections.

It’s going to be a big one so expect it to take some time in the oven, especially since I’m working with a rather busy schedule at the moment but without getting too specific I’m targeting a release for (potentially) the end of April. No promises at this stage. In the meantime you can expect the usual bonus content here from me on patreon including extra lewd renders, wallpapers, and teasers!

Update 2.5 of Twinewood is now public and available to download for free on my itch.io page! You can find the full changelog below. 

As the last major update of 2024 I hope you all enjoy it and get excited for what is to come. This is going to be it for posts from me until January but I just wanted to take this chance to once again thank you all for your continued support of my games development, I couldn’t do this without you!

• Went through the entire game and gave a comprehensive touch up to all dialogue across each episode. (This one took a while.)

Twinewood Update 2.5 Release Date

Update 2.5 of Twinewood will release on Monday the 16th of December for Ultra and Supreme supporters. The public release will be Thursday the 19th. The patch notes are as follows:

Cool Filter I Found

Been messing around a little with editing. What do you guys think of this filter I found? I think it looks pretty cool but doesn't really work with faces. Would probably be really good for some main menu art or something.

Slight Change of Plans. (Update 2.5)

I've decided to delay update 2.5 meaning it will not release at the end of this month. This is largely due to the fact I was not happy with the quality and direction of the new scene featuring Kara/Maya. I just feel that I could have done a better job with it and decided there story could go in a different direction than the one the scene originally was taking things. This should mean they will end up being more closely tied with the main plot. I'm also going to expand the scope of the update in general with a few more quality of life changes and a brand new overhaul to a large scene in episode 1. As for when the new release date will be, stay tuned. Once again sorry for the delay, but I think the game will be better for it in the long run.

11/11/2024 - 2.5 Content Announcement

Good evening fellow culture connoisseurs, in today's dev log I’m going to talk a little about when and what exactly you can expect from the next update of Twinewood. First of all I’d just like to say thank you all once again for your continued support of my little projects, I probably wouldn't be able to keep doing this without your support! I’m currently in my final year of a university game development course and whilst it’s been a really fun experience and I’ve learned a lot these past few months have been filled with nothing but academic writing for me which has been kind of a stressful nightmare. Having Twinewood and some of my other lewd projects to work at on the side has been a really nice way to unwind/procrastinate and I’m happy to say it looks like update 2.5 should be ready by the end of November. That being said, the end of November is also the deadline time for my first semester so we’ll see if it actually does drop before then…

As for what exactly you can expect from update 2.5 below I have included my projected changelog. I hope to get it in your hands soon, and as always, stay pervy. - Professional D.
