Test Shoot For Sleeping Siren
Added 2023-09-14 19:39:32 +0000 UTCOkay so this theme was more of a crowd pleaser than my own passions, so I will admit it was not a theme I was super excited about, but it made my clients hype so I decided to go for it! Which I am learning to do more, like our blacklight set from last winter! That was something I just did not want to do, and it ended up basically paying for my maternity leave, it was actually fun to shoot!
Anyways, This theme stressed me out, I just could not find a vision in my head that inspired me, so I did what I do best and winged it! I had a general idea and hoped the rest would fall into place.
The day of the shoot we saw was calling for poor weather but I was not too worried because we would be shooting in my green house! Boy oh boy, I should have been worried. HAHA. Due to the INSANE amount of rain, we all had to huddle in the greenhouse which made posing and shooting incredibly difficult. It was also HOT in the greenhouse, we had Salem, the baby with us cause she's going through something and cannot leave my side. Grace's shell bra wanted to unalive itself, Kira got off work late, but Brit and I were vibing haha. Tiffany stayed to help with the baby, but baby wanted nothing to do with any of it. I lost SO MUCH light because of the storm, and I kinda wanted to cry. The mermaid tails were also so much more difficult to pose and move in than I could have ever anticipated. I had to blow out all the candles too because there was no room to move around them safely. Basically I am thankful we did this test so I can be prepared and understand the dynamics of this theme.
I was so scared to even upload the pictures to my computer but thankfully I think we did alright!
