Belated Thanks, and A Question!

Hello everyone! I hope you're all having a wonderful day.

Yesterday night I came back from a convention in Milan (managed to play some kick-ass Broken Binary and had a great time with Cyberpunk 2020). As soon as I touched the bed I fell asleep and woke up this morning at 11 a.m. ... only to discover I had missed #ThankYouPatronsDay.

So, let me begin by telling you this: thank you for your support. When I started this patreon I didn't know how it would go - and let me tell you, it has had a powerfully positive effect on my work. There's quite a few of you now too - we're approaching 40! - and I wanted to ask:

Would you like for us, as a community, to have a meeting place?

While it's true that there's a Rooster Games community on Facebook, I was thinking about a patrons-only environment, perhaps a Discord server or a Telegram chat. I myself mainly use Telegram, but I do see how Discord allows for customization (we could have an ITA channel, for instance).

Would you be interested in this? And if yes, would you prefer Telegram or Discord?

I'd love to read your thoughts in the comments to this post!

I think that structured discussion can be already performed here, while for quick chat telegram should be ok. Maybe it would be better to manage the number of people having access to it, as the more members there are, the more chaotic a chat become.

I do see your point, but there aren't many patrons active in the comments section - you are the exception in this case! I wondered if having a chat for discussion and even the occasional OT could boost the patron/creator interactions.

I think that if we chat around the world, we could lose precious threads. If we stay here, questions, comments, ideas, could be easily found and collected by other users in the future.
