Update & Happy Holidays!

Hello everyone! Just wanted to wish all of you a happy summer holiday (and buon ferragosto to all Italians!), plus a couple updates!
- I’m in the process of re-designing some of Fabula Ultima’s core rules - specifically the mechanical relevance of Promises between characters. Expect the next Fabula post to be about core rules.
- I’m catching up with several anime I hadn’t watched - Tokyo Ghoul, Darling in the Franxx, Fate (Unlimited Bladeworks, Apocrypha) to name a few. These stories, combined with the rising demand for single-session rpgs both from my group and in gaming clubs, have brought me to work on a ”multi-headed” project involving card-based character generation, one-shot scenarios and a large use of boardgame-like “secret roles” to inject drama within play. You’ll see more in the coming months; as of now, I’m going to playtest this new concept this very Saturday during a 24-hours long gaming event in my area. I’ll keep you updated.
- I’m still in the process of moving, but I have finally managed to bring my work stuff (artbooks, notebooks, printer, PC) to the new place. And the internet will probably allow me to stream in the future - although my MacBookPRO is 8 years old and I don’t know if it can handle streaming. We’ll see!
Well, that was pretty much all I wanted to tell you. Next week I’ll be back at you, hopefully with some good news from the playtest.
