2025-08-25 07:20:36 +0000 UTCThis is actually not the first uncensored BL from China since there were two last year (Meet You at the Blossom & Blue Canvas of Youthful Days), but it is the one that became most popular. There are also a couple this year before RL (The Sparkle in Your Eye, for example). CBLs are actually rolling out a lot, so fans are worried about government backlash through new laws. We'll see, but I hope all the actors will be okay. ... I love that you're reacting to this and hope you end up enjoying it. What carries the show is the great chemistry from the actors, but I really do love the silliness & just low-budget web drama feel. I think when people take the show for what it is then they can just sit back and enjoy, lol. The blind leading the blind is the perfect way to describe wu suowei and xiaoshuai even though they end up actually having some good schemes. I think Chi Cheng keeps the snake with him so much to purposefully keep people at a distance. Sorry for the long comment!
