2025-01-07 19:41:46 +0000 UTCah, the "you can join the governor" thing is a reference to a meme in Thailand: the governor of Bangkok goes jogging every day and there's a pretty famous picture of him doing it, it was also him that Gun dressed as in the 1st ep when he came to the debate wearing a black tank top and carrying a bag of food with him! also, the product placement in Thai shows are usually pretty severe, but it also depends on how many sponsors the show has: the more PG and expected-to-be-popular it is, and the bigger the company in charge of the show is (GMMTV, the company producing this show, is the biggest one), then the more sponsors it will have. this show is definitely an example of one of those that got a lot of sponsors (but there are some that are far worse, trust me - ex. 'Vice Versa' is a show that got memed baaad due to how many sponsor scenes it has). My School President was actually praised for incorporating its products in a more natural way than most others haha

2025-01-07 16:02:30 +0000 UTCI really loved how this show had them fail, and stuff go wrong. It made it more real, and Gun and Tinn went from cute and fluffy puppy love vibes to having some depth to their connection just in Tinn being able to comfort Gun.
