I'm sorry but as much as i love straykids, sf9 deserved to win first place. They literally covered a taemin song and managed to do it justice, now thats impressive.

The question is who would have to replace them? I maintain that Skz I'll Be Your Man was bs, but like... I also rly liked everyone else's performance that round too :/ (except TBZ O Sole Mio, not a fan I'm sorry)

I can't even see the similarities when I look at them now, even between like LK & Innie. Innie's cheekbones are too powerful lol

SF9 was nobody for me when I first watched Kingdom, but I am genuinely happy seeing them win first place in this episode. While I believe that every reality/survival show is scripted to some extent, the case is different for the participants. It must be mentally taxing for them to go through one challenge over another, especially for those considered underdogs. All these groups are admirable.

Like i actually felt so proud when they finally got a first place win that i teared up. Idk what changed but I have been enjoying these reactions so much. Also the audio settings were off. I couldn't really hear you commenting while you were still playing the show. Could only really hear you when you paused it.

SKZ being everyone's biggest funboys is also my favorite thing, they are such hype boys, appsolutely supportive 100%. You have to check out Move by Taemin at some point and maybe even more of his and SHINee music, they are really good 2nd gen group but they are still active today. Taemin was also Hyunjin's role model, their dance style is even similar (tho half of kpop industry has Taemin as their role model, no joke). They were my first and favorite group ever since 2014, all the members have unique and amazing vocals and bunch of great solo albums. EXO are also amazing, they have a really powerful concepts and addictive good quality music that you can't help but want to listen to again. THE BOYZ stage was great, I really liked it. Sunwoo and Eric ate their rap parts and that Orochimaru part was such a good surprise lol. I agree on the fact that SKZ would have appsolutely murdered every stage if Hyunjin was there so that they could unleash their full potential, he holds so much power both with his performance and his vocals. About the ranking, our boys deserved that 1st place is all I'll say. I CAN'T WAIT FOR U TO LISTEN TO WOLFGANG.

2023-09-27 17:38:59 +0000 UTCI feel like you can very clearly see how this was the moment Ateez not quite gave up but realized that there was no chance of them winning Kingdom as they were always getting last places in global votes. Jongho throwing away the crown means just that. They completely pivoted in doing the performance purely for the fans and used this opportunity to push the storyline. I didn't know much about their lore when I watched it for the first time so I was just yeah, cool performance, loved the other ones more! But after I dived into lore more, this one honest to god brings tears to my eyes every time I watch it or even just listen to this version. The change in attitude will be even more clear in their final performance. It's all kind of bittersweet, not gonna lie. But Kingdom solidified their position as my ults so I can't complain too much.
