Mayfly really is a deadly combination..u have got two teams who put out powerful, intense energetic performance and has got great rapline and dance line with two really good vocalists and one team that are like the vocal kings of the show..extremely balanced and best at every skill compared to the other team! Plus how can we forget athletic skill even. They won sports day! They started their Mayfly journey with a win!

2024-03-19 16:11:20 +0000 UTCWait I’m so confused the ranking is off. In episode five after the self evaluation ateez was still first place but here it says their 4th place and sf9 is first place. Also this episode was so fun to watch and give them a break from the initial challenge. Bangchan and wooyoung aced the relay. Bobby was just there to sit relax and laugh the whole time. It dead ass would have been between hyunjin minhyuk and Felix between visual king.

I strongly recommend watching a mini series posted on youtube by MNET called "kingdom contact" it's basically like a speed date concept between the two big groups and they give 2 minutes for two members of different groups to talk and get to know each other 😭 its so hilarious, it's where that clip of chan and hongjoong you watched came from. they're very short videos divided by units and i hope you can get to them if you have the time <3 and the show only gets better from here!!! so excited to keep watching

2023-09-12 06:16:23 +0000 UTCDid you know? That in the idol community, they have an athletic competition every year called ISAC (Idol Star Athletic Competition). This is where Minhyuk made his legend (with 20 medals!!) and where those clips of Chan running came from. I think Ikon only participated once which is why their athletic skills are a ‘mystery’. But many other groups do and you get to see a lot of interesting interactions between them. Our boys Skz have some notable achievements, as have the other groups in Kingdom. I encourage watching a compilation of their feats. Random interesting tidbit, but at the same time Kingdom was airing this episode, another group called NCT (they have 20+ members divided into several subunits) had their own field day competition. They’re a group I hope you will check out one day, but because of how large the group is and how complicated their concept is, it might be overwhelming, so definitely start with one subunit and go from there (I recommend NCT 127). Otherwise, I really look forward to seeing you check out The Boyz! They’re amazing, I adore their music! Also looking forward to the next episode, you will be blown away by the performances guaranteed!!

2023-09-12 02:01:28 +0000 UTCFor one they won all the "views" as well, which is kind of obvious, fanbase makes those views. 🤷♀️ I'm not saying that skz didn't deserve to win, they were objectively the best. But the fact that they would win was pretty obvious if not from the very start, than by the second fan voting. That hypothetical scenario doesn't work when the performance is actually good. Judges/self-evaluation was mostly reasonable except for this one time which was clearly to spice things up bc it's not a good look for a show for them to win absolutely every round.

2023-09-12 01:04:22 +0000 UTCi'm not that sure, like If 50% of the score comes from "judges" and "self-evaluation" the other 40% comes from fanbase and 10% from views. If we were to take as an example a scenario where a group loses all the rounds of selfevaluation and judges, I don't think it is likely that they will win, obviously it helps but it is half the points not 100%.. but ofc It's just a personal opinion, let's just not forget that there are 50% of the points that are not given by fanbases

2023-09-12 00:11:25 +0000 UTClisten, I agree that SKZ didn't deserve last place last time, they were my number 2 after BTOB but they DEFINITELY had the largest fanbase, like it's not even close and as you see global evaluation put Ateez the last... like I think we can all agree that's not fair either. It IS a fanbase size competition and no one, mnet included, had any doubts that SKZ would win it. As I said, it's not even close, their popularity was already reaching top levels even then.

2023-09-11 17:05:10 +0000 UTCall I'm saying is that you need to look up minhyuk/huta dancing to antifragile Immediately fr though team mayfly was such a personal attack on me they're my three faves and getting to see them collaborating in the next two eps is chefs kiss you won't be disappointed!! skz coming last is still totally insane to me too I don't get how anyone could justify it like they Devoured. ateez and skz easily swap between first and second for me just depending on my mood when you ask me lmao

I can't believe that there are people who defended that skz came last in the previous round.. I have never seen anyone, not even an anti skz dare

Also, here they cut a scene with the MC telling i thought Han was the main vocalist(ps sorry for my awful English)
