Weekly Update - Hannah & Johnson Commission Reference Document

Hey, everyone! I hope you're all doing okay. We've had some crazy weather over here, with tornado warnings and everything, so it's been a pretty hectic week, overall.

Still, I managed to make some significant progress in the Bunnygirls game. I've completed the epilogue scenes after both Jazmine and Hannah's H-scenes at the hotel, making it 3 endings done out of the planned 5. The game is racing rapidly towards the finish line, so much so that I am starting to wonder if I should prepare the Steam page soon!

I am rather concerned about Steam, since the Bunnygirls game did use AI-generated images as placeholder art (and using it to 'cartoonify' copyright-free images I used as backgrounds), so I need to be thorough in removing them, since Steam is now very stringent about AI art. I agree with their stance on AI art, by the way, so I need to clean my stuff up properly.

Speaking of generated art, I have previously shared my methods of commissioning artists, which do include generating reference material with AI and then heavily editing it to get the image I want. This is what I have done here with the next scene involving Hannah and our best boy Johnson, and I decided to give you a tease (and another look into my own method) with the image attached to this post, which is part of the reference package I am sending to artist Ainemswork for a new commission.

As you can see, I've tried to incorporate the two main ideas that came out of the poll I did about the scene. There is a bodyscissor hold happening, but Hannah does have her fun with her breasts and poor Johnson's head. Hopefully this will satisfy everyone who voted, I'm really trying hard to please everyone in one fell swoop, here.

Yesterday's poll about The Bodyguard Girl Director's Cut wasn't coming out of the blue. Since there are delays on production of The Bodyguard Girl 2, I figured I would go ahead with the preparations on remaking the first game and giving it a few more scenes. 

I have started planning at least one new CG scene for the game and I am looking to contact the original artist Abi Boge about working with me again to continue the project. Hopefully they'll be on board. I'll keep you guys posted about that.

Nope. This was news earlier this summer, and it made me wary of using too much AI. I've used it in the past to 'cartoonify' some backgrounds (such as in The Bodyguard 2 early build), and now I'm trying to pivot to use some actual backgrounds that I edit myself to fit my needs, even if the result might not be suuuper pro-looking. https://www.theverge.com/2023/7/1/23781339/valve-steam-ai-artwork-rejecting-banning-pc-games
