Weekly Update - A Proposal

Hi, everybody!

Vivian is tapping the mattress next to her, inviting you to sit down. It might be a trap, but who cares, right?

I've been thinking about something.... Seeing the relative success of My Gym Mommy on Steam made me want to release The Bodyguard 1 on the platform as well, but I am not very satisfied with the game as it currently is. 

It was my first game, I was learning the ropes. I am still learning, but if I had to do it over again, the game might be structured slightly differently, and all that. It would need to be at least as good as My Gym Mommy if I wanted to put it on Steam. That audience can be vicious.

Also, I cannot ignore that a vocal part of our community expressed to me that they're not 100% vibing with Vivian's new look. I will stick to my original plan, because I personally love the new artist's work as I stated previously, but I came up with an idea.

What if I made a modified version of The Bodyguard 1, some sort of Bodyguard Redux or Director's Cut or whatever you want to call it? Like, I don't re-do the game from scratch, but I give it a better structure, add in one or two new CGs, and commission the original artist for those new scenes?

It feels like a nice compromise so everybody can get what they want (I get a new game I can confidently release on Steam, you get more of the original Vivian). 

But at the same time, I don't want to split my attention on yet another project. Although I feel like I could deliver this idea quite quickly, I must be wary of becoming scatterbrained with my focus divided on three concurrent projects (Bodyguard 1 Redux, Bodyguard 2, Bunny Girl), and delaying potentially highly awaited future projects (such as, say, My Childhood Girlfriend, which I would really enjoy making).
