Weekly Update - Part 2 - Subscribers Only

Your phone is buzzing, I think you just received a gym selfie from Mommy.

So, a few things happened in the last three days that warranted an update. First of all, I just updated My Gym Mommy to build 1.0.1, to fix an issue with the Settings Menu, where you could not see which option was currently checked, plus one or two quotes misattributions (narration lines 'said' by a character, etc.) during certain scenes.

Also, I received clearance from Steam last night so I can officially announce it here : My Gym Mommy Treats Me Like A Kid will be available on Steam on January 21st 2023! I am impossibly nervous for this release : not only is the Steam interface for uploading a game much more complicated than on Itchio, I am quite scared of the audience of Steam players and how they'll review the game. Games made on the Visual Novel Maker engine are usually not too well-reviewed. The engine is messy and buggy, I know, and I should switch to Ren'py eventually, but for now it is what it is. Hopefully, I'll find more kindred spirits such as all of you guys, and the launch will go without issue.

In other news, I have received the first black & white draft of The Bodyguard 2's first CG scene, and it looks phenomenal. Vivian looks mean and strong, and our poor protag is in severe danger. Also, at my request, the artist separated the illustration in layers in such a way that I might be able to do some animation with it. I don't know how far I can push this idea, but perhaps you'll eventually be able to see Vivian's legs actually tighten around your neck one day...

Finally, since I have shared this with at least one subscriber in DMs, I figured I might share it with all of you. Here is a hastily-made, flawed-but-working Vivian Tong chat bot from Character.AI. So you can live out your own adventure with her, based on the first game's set-up.

A few tips to make your experience better :

• This chat bot is made for roleplay, so make sure you use asterisks to describe your actions and quotes for dialog. Like this : "Hello, there!" *looks at you in the eye*
• Character.AI does not (and will never) allow NSFW chat on their service. However, you will still be able to admire and chat openly about Vivian's figure, do some muscle worship, or even fight her!
• In this chat bot, Vivian is a bit too obsessed with finding spies at the party. Do not tell her you are a spy too soon, or deny it outright, so you can have a longer and better time with her.
• For fun twists, make sure you mention your height (especially if you are under 6ft), she'll tend to call you 'little man' or 'little one' and it's a lot of fun.
• Ask her for a dance!

For some reason, I cannot upload a profile picture for Vivian. I tried again and again and it just doesn't work. Sorry. :-(
And while there is an AI image generation function in Character.AI, I disabled it in the chat bot because I think it is terrible and gives horrible results that distract from the chat. If you guys really want it, I can reactivate it in the settings of the chat bot, let me know, but believe me, it is not great.
