New Fun Strip: Myron The Living Voodoo Doll
Added 2024-11-26 11:52:21 +0000 UTCI goofed on this one but I'm not going to redraw it. Myron is way too small in panel two, compared to other strips he's been miniaturized. Oh, well, if Walter Lantz and company could get away with Woody Woodpecker growing and shrinking within the same cartoon I can get away with it once in a while.
He's so small, though. Urgh. Maybe he was in a dryer and shrunk.
Holy waitaminnit -- that's a decent idea for another Myron strip. I can draw that one and then -- if and when I finally get Dork #12 or whatever printed -- I can run it in sequence before this one. Maybe Myron can be small for a few strips and then swell up again.
Anyway, here's a new Myron the Living Voodoo Doll comic. I drew him too small.

It's fine if you don't like Myron in general, I expect people to not like everything in Dork, you can't bat a thousand with jokes (or 500, probably. Or less...). Darwyn Cooke absolutely hated the Devil Puppet. I know some readers didn't like the Murder Family. I have no idea where the idea for Myron came from, it was one of the first Fun Strips I did, it was a throwaway joke at the bottom of a page or inside cover, iirc. Just another one-joke premise that I keep returning to.
