Melody x Lawa Update & A New Adventure With Furina x HuTao! ❤️(˵^ ◡ ^˵)❤️

That was a hella busy week! I held off on posting until we had some solid news to share, and now I can proudly announce - Part1 of Melody x Lawa is ready, and we’ve just sent it over to Melody for full voicing! ﾟ✧٩(｡◕ ꇴ ◕｡)۶✧*
The amount of tweaks and pacing adjustments we've made during last 10 days is through the roof! way more than i mentioned in my last update! =P We've tweaked countless light issues, redid some fluid simulations, added two extra climax scenes, improved the "challenge and tablet" sequences big times, reworked environment for some scenes completely, and so much more! Now, all that remains are a few minor cosmetic touches and one final scene, which I'll animate as soon as we receive the full audio recordings. Other than that, everything is rendered, looking great, and sitting on my PC! ❤️ ٩(๑•̀ω•́๑)۶ ❤️
And a quick note on "Part 1": its not really a "part", think of it as a preview of the first half of the full Melody x Lawa animation. This part will be around 6 minutes long, while the complete version will likely reach 12 minutes. Of course, Part1 will have its own piece of action and a very messy climax (¬‿¬)❤️ Part 2 on the other hand, should be much easier to create - its much more action focused, and not that dialogue heavy, so I'll do my best to finish it faster. Plus, we already have a full minute of Part 2 fully animated with lighting, so that gives us a nice head start! (๑❛ڡ❛๑)👍
What's next?
Right now we are waiting for Melody's recordings. She has a busy schedule, but we'll do our best to secure some of her time for this project shortly. And thanks to all the WIPs and Rii's work, we'll provide Mel with solid references to guide the voicing style and approach!
In the meantime:
While we are waiting for audio files, Kitsune will be working on overall sound design for Mel x Lawa, adjusting some misbehaving fluid simulations, and fixing some minor glitches.
Me - I’m diving full force into the Furina x HuTao project! By the time you'll be reading this, I’ll already be assembling the assets and environment. Kitsune has quite an awesome vision of Furina's royal palace, and we'll do our best to serve her with the most stunning setting possible! The storyboard is in full swing, and we’ve gathered a ton of references! Can’t wait to bring it all to life!
Furina x HuTao animation will likely be similar in size and style to my old Ganyu x Keqing project, so I’ll be pushing to finish it faster. Once that’s done, we’ll circle back to Mel x Lawa Part 2: big action finale! (｡> ‿ ◕｡)❤️
