POLL: Do we want to change Abrams engine sound?
Added 2023-01-30 10:31:19 +0000 UTCIt's been a while since I made this sound from generic APU Turbine, but a few months ago, I received actual recordings from Abrams's driver.
The reason why it never saw the light is the sound - it's unimaginably annoying, it could be tweaked slightly, but overall tone will drastically the perception of the tank in terms of sound.

2023-01-31 18:40:30 +0000 UTCI honestly uninstalled because of the current sound. I crewed an abrams and it gave me the tinnitus the tank actually gave me. Not a nag on you bro it’s just I don’t think no matter what I could tolerate the Abrams actual sound.

2023-01-30 21:19:49 +0000 UTCCan we please take this moment and tweak the sound when in gunner/driver mode as well? The sounds of all tank engines are barely audible if you are not outside the tank in 3rd person.

2023-01-30 18:58:14 +0000 UTCI much prefer a more realistic abrams sound, i’ve encountered situations where my friend has listened to my stream one too many times and has found the current abrams sound to be quite unsatisfactory. I believe the engine sound should be tweaked or replaced and so does the 105 and 120 gun sounds, the interior sounds is like moving metal and not so much of a gun firing compared to Gunnery table videos that you can find on youtube, the shell casing sound is also not really there for the 120 gun sound, however that is just my input.
