On Friday we released our first-ever anime riff, Attack of the Super Monsters. After the guys finished riffing it, they fired up the GoPro and recorded this episode of Talkin' RiffTrax. Enjoy!

Your conversation about this alone is a treat. And you revealed that this movie shifts between what model work passes for live action and cartoon - even more than did the Star Wars Holiday Special. By the way, some years ago I cured a nice girl's migraine, by turning off the overhead fluorescent lights, and putting on a DVD that has the Holiday Special [3 videotapes edition, with ads), and your RiffTrax, synchronized very well. (Don't worry, I sent you the price of the riff, as a donation.). She forgot all about her migraine, and laughed herself well.

2019-12-31 04:36:52 +0000 UTCTake Japanese men in rubber suits monster movies, add a bad Gatchaman anime ripoff, and mix in the live action sets and toys from a Jerry Anderson Marionation show, and you’ve got Attack of the Super Monsters. It’s a great riff of a wonderfully bizarre show.
