Mistaken | Der Irrtum (5)

On Saturday morning, Bianca wakes up before Sebastian and prepares breakfast. She makes coffee and is about to start carrying all the necessary utensils to the dining table with the bag over her shoulder.
Sebastian arrives shortly after, already half dressed, rushed into the dining room. He gives Bianca a quick kiss and puts his laptop bag on the table. He is already almost out of the room.
Bianca: "I thought we would have breakfast together before you leave for the trade fair?"
Sebastian: "I wanted to, but I forgot something in the office and have to stop by there first...sorry!" He hurries to the bathroom.
Bianca sits down at the table frustrated, without putting up her casted foot. Her appetite is gone. On the table in front of her she sees something sticking out of Sebastian's bag. She pulls it out. It's a small plush mouse attached to a pink note.
It says: „Can’t wait to see you! Kisses..."
Bianca feels dizzy. As she hears the bathroom door, she quickly stuffs the mouse and note back into the bag that Sebastian grabs in the next second. He gives her another quick kiss and doesn't notice the tears running down Bianca's cheeks. "Bye Honey, I'll get back to you as soon as I can..." And then he's gone.

Am Samstag Morgen ist Bianca schon vor Sebastian aufgestanden und bereitet im Schlafanzug das Frühstück vor. Sie kocht Kaffee und will gerade anfangen, alle benötigten Utensilien mit dem Beutel über der Schulter zum Esstisch zu tragen.
Sebastian kommt kurz darauf, schon halb im Anzug, abgehetzt ins Esszimmer. Er gibt Bianca einen flüchtigen Kuss und legt seine Laptoptasche auf den Tisch. Er ist schon fast wieder aus dem Zimmer.

Bianca: „Ich dachte wir frühstücken noch zusammen bevor du zur Messe fährst?“
Sebastian: „Wollte ich auch, aber ich hab was im Büro vergessen und muss vorher nochmal da vorbei…sorry!“ Er eilt ins Bad.
Bianca setzt sich frustriert an den Tisch, ohne den Gipsfuß hochzulegen. Der Appetit ist ihr vergangen. Vor sich auf dem Tisch sieht sie etwas aus Sebastians Tasche ragen. Sie zieht es heraus. Es ist eine kleine Plüschmaus, an die ein pinker Zettel geheftet ist.
Darauf steht: „Freu’ mich auf dich! Kuss...“
Bianca wird kurz schwarz vor Augen. Als sie die Badezimmertür hört, stopft sie Maus und Zettel schnell zurück in die Tasche, die sich Sebastian in der nächsten Sekunde auch schon schnappt. Er gibt ihr einen weiteren flüchtigen Kuss und bemerkt nicht die Tränen, die über Biancas Wangen laufen. „Tschüß mein Schatz, ich meld mich zwischendurch sobald es geht…“ Und weg ist er.
